Blue Wilderness "chicken & turkey" and "red meat feast" have only 9% protein, as compared to the much cheaper Friskies products of similar type. The can contents for these products, as well as their Healthy Gourmet Chicken Entree", bear no resemblance to meat in appearance or texture. Most importantly, the cats will eat it, but only reluctantly and if they are very hungry.

  • First time served, success!

Cats enjoyed it. My only concern was that some of the cans were severely dented when packaged in the original bulk box. More care is needed to inspect cans by the Wilderness company.

  • Delicious for Cats

    By on

I started this flavor with my newest two cats. I have an older cat that likes it too. I like the flaked version, as it has more gravy to it. I can use the lid to help me divide the can into half portions to share between two cats. It is easy to open. I'd recommend this to other cat owners.

  • They love it!

Both my cats took to this food readily and licked their bowls clean. It does not look like "mystery" meat and the ingredients are free of additives. I feel confident in feeding it and they enjoy eating it.

  • 100 percent approval given by all 3 cats

    By on Top 25 Contributor

This food is loved by all 3 cats. The "flaked" texture is their favorite. While trying them on the different textures, I did notice that the "meaty morsels" appeared to have more gravy. They do like a lot of gravy, but weren't fans of the large chunks in the "meaty morsels" (I had to mash them down with a spoon) so this flaked version got their seal of approval. There is still plenty of gravy in this flaked texture and they apparently love the taste because their bowls are licked completely clean in record time. The Wild Delights smell good, too.

  • A hit with my gang

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Most of the time my cats aren't too fond of turkey but they do seem to like this combo. The texture is good too since I gave up on them with cat foods that are labeled "with gravy." This will become a regular in my home.

  • Good Quality

The cats are finicky but do like this particular blend. I always opt for Flaked or Morsels as opposed to Pate

  • Blue Buffalo chicken turkey

My cat, Mufasa, is a very finicky senior feline. He doesn't like fish or pâté food, so we can be limited. He LOVES this canned chicken and turkey.

  • The perfect canned cat food

    By on

My cat loves this food from Blue Buffalo. He eats every morsel and begs for more. His stool is fine, also, not too runny and not too firm. Recommended.

  • My cats like it

The texture is probably what my cats like about this food. The little "crumbles" add variety to their meals.
