Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh Quick-Clumping Cat Litter offers pet parents incredible odor control and long-lasting absorbency. It's so absorbent that one bag is equal to three bags of the leading clay litter. Made from a proprietary blend of the fibrous materials found in the walnut shell, this litter neutralizes litter box odors better than clay, pine and wheat. It produces harder clumps than pine, corn or wheat, making clean-up simple and mess-free. Unlike clay litters which throw off silica dust, Blue's Naturally Fresh is virtually dust-free so you and your cat can breathe easy. And because it doesn’t stick to your cat’s paws, it won’t be tracked throughout your house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Litter Very glad I switched to this litter. Absorbent, very little dust, and no odor. July 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really Long Lasting I have been buying this from pet shops for a long time, because it keeps down odor, and has no dust. It's totally worth the price! July 21, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not my favorite I have used nearly every premium litter and a few store brands. This one has very loose "clumps" and scooping breaks them up, making it impossible to remove the entire deposit. I know from experience using a similar litter that these bits result in the litter getting stinky. It also tracks just as much as any other litter and the walnut shell bits are quite sharp. Not pleasant to step on with bare feet. I'm most pleased with Precious Cat, which clumps very well and allows removal of entire deposits. Because of this, the litter lasts a very long time, requiring replenishment as the level goes down due to scooping. It controls odor better and tracks about the same. Precious Cat is the only honestly dust-free clay litter I've found. A black cat is the best way to judge the dust quotient of any litter. PC is much more affordable than the Blue stuff. May 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nutty Cat Litter I purchased three large size bags of Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh Walnut-Based Quick-Clumping Cat Litter as a first time buyer. My current brand is terribly dusty and it can't be good for either humans or pets. I think it is important to say that there doesn't seem to be any difference between this type, and the multi-cat litter, so save your self some money and get this type. I began by putting about eight to ten cups of walnut litter into the existing clay litter. The cats sniffed it, but took to it right away. It seems to clump just fine, and if there is any dust, it is not noticeable. Each time I scoop, I add a bit more product. I have two cats. The litter box is scooped at least twice a day, more often if I walk by and happen to notice a 'deposit.' There is a light, earthy odor, not at all unpleasant. The walnut bits work very well, and I really haven't noticed any unpleasant odors, though that might be due to the fact that I scoop frequently. At this point, I am extremely pleased with this product, and I bet my kitties are too! February 27, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Can no longer recommend Either they've changed this litter recently or there's a big quality control issue. My problem cat urinates a lot due to his medications. This litter was the only natural one that worked well for him. Something has changed in the last couple of months and it no longer clumps well at all. Doesn't even clump well in the boxes my healthy cats use. So disappointed that I have to start my litter search again. July 4, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Still too dusty I am trying to find a non-toxic, non-clay and non-corn/wheat litter. I really wanted to love this litter, but I don't. I first tried the pellets of this brand (purple bag). When the cats made #2 it just sat on them and stunk up the house. Very hard to scoop amid the pellets. So, I tried the non-pellet kind (green bag) This is still very dusty compared to clay litters. I just don't see how anyone can claim that there is no dust, I almost feel like I need to wear a mask to scoop. Also, the brown color turns my white cat's paws brown (which does wear off- probably because she wiped them off by walking on my carpet). It also sometimes sticks to their backside because they are long-haired. I'm still looking for the perfect litter. June 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good litter, less dust I like this litter so much more than the clay scoop able litter. It is not as dusty and the smell is definitely minimized. I worry about the other scoop able litter because the dust has to get into your lungs. I am now cleaning areas the dust from the other litter has left a thick cover on the areas where I have the cat boxes. This litter has a nutty smell and it is easy to clean the used litter up. Rated 3 out of 5 by Jury is out I tried this litter because one of my older cats has recurrent sinus infections. I thought it might be less dusty than the clay litter I've always used. The day I put it in his box, he became increasingly congested to where after a few days it required a vet trip. The product says dust free, but I did notice dust on the side of the box after I poured it in. His response could be coincidental. I just don't know. I finally changed back to the old clay litter, which isn't ideal either. I did notice the Blue Buffalo was less dusty than clay, so it was easier for me to deal with. It clumped nicely, but didn't become as heavy as most clumping litters. It's a dark color, so left noticeable residue on the floor. I'm not sure if that's good because you can see it to clean it up, or bad because it looks dirty. Overall, if my cat didn't have respiratory symptoms that coincided with the new litter I would have kept using it as it seems healthier. January 21, 2016
