Rated 5 out of 5 by This food has been a Godsend for my 11 yr old Lab Mix My 11 yr old Lab Mix Sport had been plagued with skin irritations and a lot of intestinal issues. We did an allergy panel and it turned out everything he was eating was causing him problems. He can not eat chicken, beef, lamb, dairy, anf many other things. His vet knew about Canine Caviar from another patient and recommended it to me. Sport eats the Duck canned and kibble. I also mix in the Dehydrated Vegitables! He loves it and his tummy is much better because of Canine Caviar. Thank you!! June 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Produces possibly best stool ever . . . The smell of this product is a bit overpowering for canned food (the can is cold processed so the contents are actually pink) and you can see the little pieces of sweet potato. This product is for supplemental feeding so I mix it with the corresponding open sky kibble from Canine Caviar. Her stools are near perfect on this product (regular, solid, near odorless, can be picked up with nothing visible on the ground). And this is coming from a dog with a very sensitive digestive system and we have tried dozens if not two dozen different dog foods probably. If you have a pet that has a sensitive digestive system, I would highly recommend Canine Caviar. All the cans we received from Chewy were in fine shape. No dented cans here and well packaged. The only reservation I have of this product is that it is canned by Evangers under private label (obviously, with Canine Caviar being a boutique brand, they don't actually manufacture their own food). Evangers also has their own canned game meats, but just at a cheaper price, which makes me wonder if it is pretty much the same product with just a different label. September 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Axel, Our Neo Mastiff Loves Canine Caviar Axel, our Neo has been eating the Turkey Canine Caviar for most of his adult life (just turned 4). He began to get a little less interested so we decided to try two other flavors; Duck & Venison. He loves them ! Now that we've been alternating the flavors he's eating like a champ ! March 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best dog food ever! Our 4 year old shihtzu has been diagnosed with allergies after months of severe itching, scratching and licking following the Prescription Diet our vet put her on for a UTI. It was horrible to the point of needing a prednisone shot and medication. The Hill's Prescription diet was absolutely terrible with corn and other ingredients we found out we're NOT good for her that she was allergic to. Horses and Hounds Agway in Granby CT recommended the canine caviar because of the limited ingredient list and excellent source of protein. We saw miraculous results with this food and duck was not one of the foods she was allergic to. Since then we have had her holistically treated for the foods she is allergic to as well. We ordered this canned canine cavier from chewy.com. BEST price on the market! The average price in stores runs $2.99 to $3.50 per can. The $3.50 price is what I have been getting from vendors. I will be getting all my dog food from chewy.com in the future! More importantly, if you reach their minimum order requirement which I did, free shipping and the order was received within a couple of days. We are thoroughly happy with this food and company selling it! Thank you!! November 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it like CRAZY! My dogs at feeding time would be a perfect commercial! They love this food & I love that we are giving them a quality product. Also love dealing with your company~top notch customer service & great prices! December 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by He loves it! My dog has severe food allergies and can only eat a limited number of meat found in pet food (duck, lamb, buffalo, pheasant) and his diet is very restricted. It's hard to find anything with ingredients he can eat when you add that he can't eat potatoes. He loves this food! I love it because it has such limited ingredients and I know he can eat it, but he loves the flavor. I had to switch from another brand of food that switched its formula recently and added too many fillers (he refused to eat the stuff when they did and it left him hungry). I'm very pleased with this! September 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product I'm very picky about what my dogs eat and Canine Caviar is one of my favorite canned dog food brands. I use their canned as a topper for kibble. It has a great consistency almost like pate only a little moister. It doesn't stink. I love that it does not contain any Carrageenan (controversial product used to gel up pet food). I've used it for several years and have never had any issues with it. June 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for one feeding. This food is incredible as far as quality goes and if you use up the can in one serving for multiple pets or large ones, you will probably be fine. I served it the first time a few days ago and my 3 cats loved it. The problem was when I got the remainder half can out of the fridge for their dinner. If you nuke it even to bring it to room temperature, it becomes a muddy mess. None of my cats would eat it. I will continue to use up the case on their one serving, but because I will lose money by throwing out the remainder, will not buy again. March 24, 2013
