Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Ingredients. Cat is healthier and happier. I've been buying this for the past couple years now for my cat, Willow. I normally buy it at Whole Foods (or used to Petsmart before they stopped carrying it here). It is way cheaper at Chewy's and gets delivered right to my door! By switching to buying it here I will save over $140 a year. He absolutely loves the food. They recently changed it a bit, and in my opinion it is even better. Willow has had more energy, and his coat has been shiny and glossy and it has really reduced the shedding. In addition I feed him Wellness brand wet food with his medicine each night. I tried the Organix brand wet food because I loved the ingredients, but unfortunately he refused to eat it. I believe its due to the fact that it's more pate in texture and he loves shredded meats with sauces. Picky little fur ball... It's amazing what we do for these guys. ;) Oh, and he loves the "present" that comes with all his food! March 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Notch I now have two adorable but, with definitely different personality, cats. My first one was found abandoned outdoors at the tender age of 4-5 weeks. The other I recently got at 8 months by making the mistake of holding him when offered at Petco. Initially, we had to overcome some health related issues (eye infection, respiratory distress, roundworms, coccidia and Giardia). They both have been raised on Castor Pollux although initially Petco had me cycle through a number of brands because he had diarrhea saying maybe it is too rich for my newbie. It was a futile venture because he only will eat what my other cat eats and she wouldn't touch any of them. The vet says this little guy has no beneficial bacteria in his GI tract...most likely from the all the antibiotics he's received. We are introducing probiotics to correct the problem. When I showed the vet what he eats, she was very pleased saying the issue is unrelated. I adore them both and I'm so happy knowing they are getting quality ingredients in their daily diet. Rated 5 out of 5 by Finicky cat likes this food My cat is very finicky and turns his nose up at most dry cat foods. This is a product that he likes. July 16, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by too much vegetable protein I like the fact that this has organic ingredients, but the issue is that it has too much plant protein. Plant protein causes urine ph to go up causing some cats to develop bladder stones. Therefore, I cannot give it to one of my cat who had a blockage in the past because of the stones. I am searching for another non gmo brands for my kitties. June 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Organic is a great thing! My 4 cats aren't wild about it. They are used to Blue Buffalo and I'm sure they spray a flavor enhancer on their kibble to entice cats to eat it. That said, this food is about as good as you can get. Sure, you can probably get even lower carb food without potato and pea protein but then the calories add up. So this is a happy balance. It's slim pickings in pet food land for quality food. The more research I do, the more discouraged I get. If you feed them healthy, you'll have lower vet bills and they live longer. I recommend this food as it is organic! June 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product! The dogs immediately had shinier coats and brighter eyes. June 27, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by I give it 3 stars Three stars because it has Organic Ingredients I won't buy it again because I have a cat who has allergies to some of the ingredients .. Which causes yeast issues for my cat . Some of the ingredients in Organix feeds the yeast & because of this I cannot feed him this food . I still feel it is a high quality food .. But it just does not meet my personal needs for my Allergic Kitty .. May 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Organix grain-free has improved my cats digestion When I made the switch to Organix from another premium kibble, my cats digestion improved from loose smelly stool with a little blood to a more formed stool with less odor and irritation. I then decided to try the Organix grain-free, even though it was expensive, and I had hesitated in the beginning, but since I was getting good results with the regular Organix, I went ahead and ordered the grain-free and I'm glad I did! It has made a huge difference! Formed stools, much less odor, and no blood, ever. I guess my big guy really had an intolerance to grain, but then again, so do my dogs and even myself. I try to eat organic and feeding my pets organic too, just makes sense. The additional expense is worth feeling proactive in my pets health care, and hopefully I'm saving in vet bills by feeding healthy food! Chewy's is awesome, too! February 27, 2015
