Simple formula easy on cats with IBD. Also, about as low in phosphorous as you will find without a prescription brand. And it is organic.

So far this seems to be the best food for Marshawn. She seems to really like it. We strive for the most natural, organic, holistic food possible and have tried several.
She also seems to be more hydrated, not drinking as much water as she has been when eating the dry food.
We're glad we switched!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JaeBldr One of the VERY best wet cat foods available!
Organix Turkey & Spinach seems to be the only canned food I can get my 13 year old cat to eat. She has only every been given wet foods, but in the past she wasn't so picky. She has Stage 2 chronic kidney disease now (aka CRF or CKD), feline herpes and epilepsy. Like another reviewer, I also have done extensive research on pet foods, have been doing it for years, and this brand, made by Castor & Pollux, is one of the best available for CKD & CRF cats, due to it's lower levels of but high quality proteins, lower phosphorus, and no grains.
Btw, guar gum is made from the guar plant, it's a legume, and this is the only company I know of that buys and uses organically grown guar gum.
I've tried the other Organix canned cat foods, but this seems to be the one she likes and eats 90% of the time. So, we'll stick to it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DrTeeth My cats hate this food.
I bought this for its relatively low phosphorus content. I'm sure the food is high quality, but my 4 male cats did not care for it at all.

I decided to buy this wet can food from Organix because my cats love the dry food. I bought the case of 24 cans that I will giving to the local shelter because my 3 cats do not like this food at all. Not sure it agrees well with their digestive system, as they are not able to keep it down. My cats are indoor cats and I struggle to find affordable food they can eat without vomiting. I have found another food through a different company they love, need to see if they offer a variety of flavors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by laurice1323 organic is always the best to feed your animals
There are SO many terrible things in cheap cat and dog foods. I like to treat my animals with 100% respect with food as I would my own kid and research everything. This product, so far, is excellent for my cat. I'd rather feed him really food to nourish his body, than to chance him getting very sick and risk an early death. Feed your animals best you can find. I believe this is one. :-)

My cats like the dry by Organix, but not really the wet. Seems to be a bit on the dry side even for a moist food. Not sure if it was old or not? They prefer PetGaurd fish wet food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sara5cats Cats won't touch it
I have 6 cats and none of them like it. It's recommended for cats with kidney failure because of its low phosphorus. These are cats that don't feel well and need food that stimulates the appetite. There is basically no meat odor to this food, and what there is, is very faint. When I smelled it, it reminded me of oatmeal...definitely a grain type of odor. The lack of color is a good thing meaning there are no food colorings added.
