Castor & Pollux Organix Turkey & Spinach Recipe Adult Canned Cat Food is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some like it, some don't I may try a different flavor. My cats are not crazy about this one. Appears to be a quality product, but they eat it reluctantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low phosphorous Thanks to a CRF website and reviews here I found this food. I have been feeding my cats organic food for years. Now one of them has reduced kidney function and the recommended prescription food has by products, cornstarch, etc. Ingredients I have been avoiding. My guy loves this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the VERY best wet cat foods available! Organix Turkey & Spinach seems to be the only canned food I can get my 13 year old cat to eat. She has only every been given wet foods, but in the past she wasn't so picky. She has Stage 2 chronic kidney disease now (aka CRF or CKD), feline herpes and epilepsy. Like another reviewer, I also have done extensive research on pet foods, have been doing it for years, and this brand, made by Castor & Pollux, is one of the best available for CKD & CRF cats, due to it's lower levels of but high quality proteins, lower phosphorus, and no grains. Btw, guar gum is made from the guar plant, it's a legume, and this is the only company I know of that buys and uses organically grown guar gum. I've tried the other Organix canned cat foods, but this seems to be the one she likes and eats 90% of the time. So, we'll stick to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This keeps my 15 yr old CRF cat going strong! Hi! I am so thankful for Castor & Pollux's Organix wet cat food. I have a 15 yr old male cat who's still going strong despite CRF thanks to this food. I did tons of research on lower-protein (and good-quality protein) wet cat food, and Castor & Pollux's fit the bill. Not only is it good for him nutritionally, but also it must taste good b/c he eats it, unlike the Rx diet ones for CRF cats from the vet, which he refused to eat and started losing weight. An A+ for this cat food!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good thing dogs like it 'cause cats don't Did want this to be on the menu for the cats because I have a CRF senior and this is low in phosphorus BUT no one will eat it even the younger "I will eat anything you put in front of me" kitties. So, it is a good thing that the dogs still think it is a treat to get the cat food. Sorry, but I think cats have to be really really hungry to eat this. Hi-Tor "Neo" that Chewy also sells is the best and eaten readily and it is also for kidney failure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cat with Kidney Problems LOVE THIS GREAT FOOD Organix Turkey-line has the best low phosphorus level among all non-prescription foods I know. AND my boy cat with kidney problems LOVE the taste of this food. Since he also has sensitive stomach issues, there are many food that upsets his stomach to complicate the situation. This Organix product is great for his stomach and kidney. He lost too much weight in the past several months, but since he began eating this product, he finally stopped losing weight. What a relief!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Low Phosphorous Simple formula easy on cats with IBD. Also, about as low in phosphorous as you will find without a prescription brand. And it is organic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Food My cat with kd is enjoying this food. It has one of the lowest phosphorus levels of all foods. My other cats don't care for it and I am glad since it is an expensive food and they don't need the low phosphorus. I wish they did not put spinach in it. Cats don't need spinach but it has other good things and no carregenan.
