I was "delighted, enchanted, blown away, jubilant, thrilled, ecstatic, tickled pink, euphoric, overjoyed, pleasantly surprised, elated, flying high, excited, and definitely over the moon about your experience with us,"per your returns page. Easier to program than an older model. We use the id disk even though our cat is microchipped... chip may just not be in a good position in our cat. Cat got used to the buzz and actually waits for it as a signal the door can be pushed open. She is usually cautious when coming in, but will crash through if she senses some threat. She goes in and out often and uses the garden...the indoor litter box has not had to be changed in months. Yea!

I really like the look and functionality of the whole set up however my cat is large (fluffy) and hates it. Thinking I may have to get a bigger one, by the time it was installed in the wall it is 8 inches deep and he had a hard time dragging his girth thru it, lol!

This cat door is a great value and the quality is excellent. If you need a small/medium cat door I recommend it.
Doesn't read chip

The cats don't like the noise and so far we haven't been able to get the programming right. We put the machine on training mode so hopefully the cats start using it.

The cat mate was easy to program my cats micro chip-After entering the program mode I just walked my cat trough the door and it was programed to let her in. Also the door was easy to install. My cat did have to get used to the click that the lock makes.

"Adopted" a little stray into our barn. Was very concerned about other strays making it through the cat door and invading her privacy. This cat door was the answer! Not the easiest thing to program, but once we installed the door, had her microchipped and after a few attempts, programmed the door... success! We had to let her get used to the door and the locking sound in "training mode" for about a week, but now, she head-butts her way into the barn and I can rest easy that she's safe and warm. Hooray for this cat door!
