Dogit Go Slow Anti-Gulping Dog Bowl, Blue is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 154.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a charm! 10 week old Lab pup devoured his 3/4 to 1 cup 3x daily feedings in 15-30 seconds then swallowed water like he had a funnel placed in his mouth. This resulted in burping and hiccups for the next 30 minutes. Ordered the medium size bowl thinking a large might provide too much space between the bowl insets and minimize the effectiveness and I'm happy to say, I think I was right doing so. First feeding with new bowl took 3 minutes to finish. Next feeding took 4-5 minutes and he actually stopped twice...once to drink (not gulp) some water and again just to walk away for a minute then came back to it. Bowl has more heft to it than I anticipated but it still slid a little bit on the tile floor. I imagine a mat would solve that easily. No doubt when he grows and feedings get larger and fewer I'll need to step up to the large size bowl but for the next 5-6 months this medium size bowl I'm sure will be perfect. Outstanding product, worked splendidly in my pups case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Solution I have 2 Cairn Terriers that are always hungry and eat so fast that I can't get sat down at the table for my meal before they have finished with theirs. When we have other family dogs staying over we have to stand guard while everyone eats. Mine are the worst. When I fed kibble I had slow bowls with mazes in them, which worked well....but I switched to cooking their food. With all the research on processed dog food it saves my sanity to "KNOW" what it going into my babies tummies. Wet food was not going to work in the bowls I had. Then came the Dogit Go Slow bowls. THEY WORK! I can put our homemade wet dog food in the bowls easily and they slow down enough to not be the first to finish with company so I know they are eating slower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT WORKS! Breed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever Age: 9 months Medium bowl holds 2 cups kibble max I put the stats first because I researched for over two hours to try to figure out what size to get. My boy has always finished his food in less than 10 seconds with NEVER a crunching sound. One night Vlad the Inhaler had trouble breathing and coughed up a wad of dry, totally intact kibble so I had to do something. After researching I settled on this bowl. The first night, he was not happy. He tried to find a way to tip the bowl over to dump his food. No luck. Now he's taking a lot longer to finish and I ACTUALLY HEAR CRUNCHING SOUNDS! One reviewer posted the bowl gave his dog a rash - some dogs can't handle plastic feeding bowls. I've always used stainless steel for that reason until this bowl, so I'm watching for a rash. It would be awesome if they made this brand in stainless. But overall I am happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bowl exceeds expectations! We recently adopted another shelter dog (we now have 3); she's about six years old, 60 pounds, and had been returned to the shelter twice. She eats voraciously, as if she is terrified someone is going to take her bowl away. She never even chewed her food, and we became worried about her ability to digest properly. This bowl is nothing short of amazing. I had read reviews about a metal bowl that came apart, flipped over, etc., but not this one. One-piece, durable, heavy enough to stay put, and it definitely slows down my speedy eater. I recommend it to anyone who has a dog who just will not slow down! And, I love the blue color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Solution! We have a 4 month old Golden Retriever Puppy who would gulp her food, then go onto harass the older dogs for their remaining food. This bowl slowed her down that she is now the last one to finish. Plus, it minimized the possibility of bloat. Our older dogs can finally eat in peace! The bowl is heavy and sturdy, so the chance of being tipped is minimal. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well! I bought this bowl for a Min Pin who can swallow all her food in seconds. When she first started using the bowl, she had to figure out how to eat slowly. Once she got the hang of it, she can still eat pretty fast! I gave this bowl 4*s because I wish it has a bit more crevice for the food to go in to really slow her down. Overall I am pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works, but be careful to order the right size I originally bought the XS bowl for our 20lb male dachshund who adores food but tends to inhale it and sometimes vomits as a result. Unfortunately, it wasn't large enough to adequately hold his 1/2 cup of kibble which spilled over the sides while eating. The wonderful team at Chewy gave us a refund and sent a new size S bowl instead, with free shipping - great customer service! (We'll donate the XS bowl to a shelter as it will probably be ideal for a cat). The bigger bowl somewhat worked to slow down his eating, at least to the same pace as his two brothers. These bowls are made from heavy duty plastic and the great design has a non-slip base. Because there are no capacity indications in the product description, I've attached a photo showing 1/2 cup of kibble (Blue Buffalo healthy weight) in both XS and S bowls as a comparison for other chewy customers - hope it helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish I knew about this bowl 2.5 years ago! I have a 2.5 year old beagle that treats every meal as if it was his last. He inhales his food and that makes him burpy and gassy. We've had this bowl for 3 days and he has to work at at to get the food. It's taking him anywhere from 25-30 minutes to finish now. I highly recommend it.
