Rated 5 out of 5 by Vanya Wonderful Product!Solved Our Problems!
This product has been a life saver for dealing with lapse in litter box use by one of our Siberian/Maine Coon cats. After thoroughly cleaning carpet soiled with cat urine to remove all odors, I added this product to our regular litter boxes (World's Best cat Litter) & the problem was solved. The literature attached to this product with guidelines for dealing with problems behaviors was the best, followed it, and we have successfully dealt with our former "problem cat"! I am continuing to use.
One suggestion: mix the Dr Elsey's litter in somewhat with other litter being used; I first just sprinkled on top of other litter and found that our cat was actually eating the Dr. Elsey's.
I do find the Dr Elsey's is not as effective at preventing cat box odor, it is also very heavy, so mixing with lighter weight, more effective odor control litter such as World's Best seems to do the job and makes emptying litter boxes a lighter weight task.

I've used almost all the Dr. Elsey's litters. I like to mix them to make them go further for the price. I have 2 cats. One loves his litter box...thinks he owns all of them :) He is 5 years old persian and a bit of rascal :). My older persian is 12 years old and used to love the litter box, until my rascal started taunting him around every litter box. So I created a solution. By using just a cupful of Dr. Elsey's cat attract on top of pee pad, placed in a tray (like a serving tray) I create many "mini litter boxes" that I place all over the house. My older persian loves Cat attract and just automatically uses the tray because of those "natural chemicals" in the litter. I also use Touch of Outdoors, Kitten attract, and Ultra unscented. They all have their own thing. This litter keeps my cats happy and makes their owner....sigh relief :)

Even though I was initially skeptical about whether this product would work for my particularly picky kitten, it seems to have solved our problem with him relieving himself outside of the litter box. At first he wouldn't use it, but we found out shortly that through coaxing him with treats and having the other cats demonstrate how to use it, he finally used it. And funnily enough, he won't use any other type of litter that we've brought home. This seems to be the only one he likes, and will use. We are very grateful for his positive behavioral change, so we plan to continue using this product. Plus, the other cats love it. In fact, they were the first ones to use it, instead of our little troublemaker, lol. I highly recommend this product, but I also recommend using the free informational pamphlet provided with this product, as it truly helped us discover our little one's thought process and ways to deal with his issues.

We adopted a stray. The first night we got him home, we had a litter box set up, but he peed on our bed. The very next morning I went to the store and got the Cat Attract litter, based on it's "100% results guaranteed." And that it did, we followed the instructions, replaced the litter, and just like that our stray cat was house trained. That was about 6 weeks ago, and we have had no problems since. It has no perfume smell, is extremely low dust. My only suggestion is to make sure you have mat outside the litter box, the granules seem to end all over, so this helps reduce the cat tracking it around the house.

Love this litter. Our cat seemed to stop using her litter box, for #2 only. A friend recommended this litter to me. Bam! Nemo does #1 &2 in her box now!
Thank you for this absolutely fabulous litter!!

The cat seemed to be peeing everywhere but the litter box. My daughter blamed him for his misbehavior and was liking him less and less. After she learned that the problem could be a urinary tract infection, she tried treating him with a product also bought from Chewy. It worked—the cat recovered and began using the litter box again. Most of the time. The trouble was that a few spots in the house, notably the sofa, had become so habitual for him that he continued to pee there. His future in my daughter's house was now in jeopardy. But then she tried using Cat Attract. I can't begin to say how grateful we are for this product and the team that designed it. My daughter's cat switched to using only the box. Cat Attract saved us from heartbreak and may literally have saved the cat's life, because out of desperation my daughter had been thinking she might have to turn him in to a shelter. The accompanying booklet is super informative with insights into this problem cat behavior and how to address it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by crankybiscuit Terrible odor control and clumping, did not attract cats
I followed all the instructions on the side of the bag and filled up one out of 3 litter boxes with this litter, and it did not attract my cats any more than the regular litter. On top of that, this litter is HORRIBLE at clumping (the clumps disintegrate as soon as I scoop) and the smell is just terrible. Expensive and useless for me.

This litter did actually seem to attract our cat to the box. I had no problem with the smell, and I thought it clumped pretty well. However, our cat developed allergic bronchitis, and we're pretty sure it was because of the litter. (We had this problem with another brand before.) We stopped using it, and his breathing improved. Unfortunately, the litter-box issues have now gotten worse! But we can't impair his breathing for that. We are getting rid of the litter, and never buying it again.
If your cat isn't sensitive to allergens, and is having litter-box issues, you might give this product a shot.
