Rated 5 out of 5 by ChiChi My picky eater likes it
I have a chi mix, she is very picky. I use this Evangers, and she likes it. This Evangers is all protein, so it has to be mixed with something like Sojo's to be balanced. The label also states it is considered a supplement.

Unfortunately, my cats didn't like the food. I may try other varieties, but this one was unsuccessful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Edwina This is a wonderful product
My cats love this food except it had micro bits of soft bone which caused them pain due to their bad mouth infection. I called the 800 number on the can and found a very friendly rep who taught me about the grinds that Evanger's uses. She helped me find better selections. Chewy took a return on this product and graciously allowed me to donate the product to a pet feeding program. Thanks Chewy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JJMON Must be good! SHE eats it
Eight months ago I was adopted by a flea and tick infested,SKINNY, 3.5 lbs at that time, abandoned or strayed (no response to flyers?) little silky girl.
Turns out that much of what I've heard of vampires may apply to her! I Invited her in and she has taken over not only my life but the lives of Smith, Wesson, and Ruger, my three big dogs, all of which are over 60lbs.
Saiga,The silky, Sleeps where she wants, rides where she wants, walks with impunity (literally) on Wesson who at 87lbs has offered to eat her on several occasions when awakened by the patter of little feet across his head, she eats a variety Evangers "If"I sit with her and assure her it's the good stuff. The big dogs line up and wait for what she doesn't eat which means I have to figure out who's turn it is just to avoid bloodshed.
I find the Evangers line at Chewy.com to be at least somewhat affordable and have it, as well as the big dogs food on an auto delivery schedule which rotates the flavors monthly. The six ounce cans feeds the little angel / demon twice in a day with a morsel left for one of the other hounds at each feeding.
As I said, Must be good! "SHE" deems it satisfactory to eat. AND she is at a whoppin 4.75 lbs these days!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Connie15 Has Strong Smell
I have been trying to change my kitty's diet for the better. I bought this because it has no fillers. She refuses to eat it. I tried mixing it with her favorite food etc, but she still won't eat it. Then I discovered why. It is ok when it first comes out of the can, but after a few minutes it has an incredibly bad smell. This is even with storing it in the fridge throughout the day. The smell gets worse even in the fridge. I think this product would be good for a multi cat household where it would be consumed all in one sitting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Otis10 change in recipe
I just wanted to point out that my dog has been eating this for the past year. However, with the most recent 24 pack that I ordered, every can that I have opened has more gravy less meat. My dog is starting to turn away from it and not wanting to eat it right away. I'm not sure if I will buy again. I am looking for something comparable to the previous recipe.
