Rated 5 out of 5 by High fiber helps cat constipation Since birth, my cat Poo has had terrible constipation issues which developed into a mega colon after 3 years. My vet put her on medication to help regulate her bowel movement, but any prescription med. is always stricken with side effects. I kept trying to find a wet cat food that would give her enough fiber to hopefully ween her off the pill. I started to use this vegetarian food due to its high fiber and nutritional value and it started to regulate her bowel movements. She is now 6. I am pleased to say Poo has been off those pills for over a year now. I highly recommend this if your pet has constipation, it is miracle food. June 26, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by It depends on the reason your feeding this.... Under normal circumstances I would not feed this to my dog. Dogs do need protein. They honestly do! But my dog has Cushings and just got over pancreatitus. She must eat low fat. I home cook for them, chicken or turkey with veggies... but I buy this for the times when she needs to take her pills, I feed her this so she dont take them on an empty stomach. There is too much starch in this food to even call it a healthy vegetarian food. May 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best for our dog's coat Our dog has had many allergy problems. Treatments were expensive and not really effective. Trying different dog foods and meats were not really effective. Evanger's vegetarian appears to not be triggering allergies. Our veterinarians appear to be impressed. Our dog thinks the canned vegetarian food is the best thing he has ever been presented with. It looks like he wants to lick the bottom off the plate. Worth a try if you've had problems with meat proteins. May 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by natural vitamins for pets. I have an older dog with poor liver function. As a result, he cannot have a lot of protein. Although he is accustomed to eating a meaty food, we have to switch to foods low in protein. It's hard to find. The vet said, "think carbs". But everyone knows as living creatures, we need more. Yes, we assume dogs and cats need meats as their natural food, but there are exceptions, and I for one erroneously made the assumption that extra meat was OK. May 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly recommend this product. For trying this product with my three indoor Maine Coons for the first time. They lover it, they eat it all and want more. I plan to continue to use and would like to try a different Evanger's Cat food. May 28, 2016

Rated 2 out of 5 by Low fat This is okay for a dog that will eat anything, but I have three that will not eat it and one that will. April 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great product... A little expensive If meat costs more than carrots and other vegetables, why is this product, vegetarian, so expensive???? May 1, 2016
