  • New kitten mom

I do very well training my dogs. My daughter found a kitten and insisted on keeping her. I'm lucky as the kitten doesn't scratch my furniture or drapes... She prefers the dogs tails. However, she likes my kitchen counters and kitchen sink. I'm told I will not be able to break her from being in my counter, but I will not go down without a fight. I bought three bottles of Four Paws Keep Off. It seems to work much better than ok, but after I cook dinner the cat is back on the counter thinking about into the sink. It's a habit I would like to break, but she stays down after I wash the dishes and spray the sink. I think it's worth buying, but don't expect miracles.

  • Deters kitten, unless he really wants something

My kitten clearly doesn't like the smell of this stuff, but when push comes to shove, he will deal with it to get what he wants. This means he'll avoid it, unless the curtains are too tempting to pass up.

  • Solid product for outside problems, a bit counterproductive for inside ones.

    By on

I purchased this product to keep my male cats (who are not neutered) off of my car. Even though I use a car cover, they would still manage to get a few shots through that. Was getting fed up. Googled "cat repellent" out of desperation and found this product. Applied gently to my car cover and, while it isn't 100% effective, it does work. I say that it's better as an outdoor solution because it smells awful. I get that that's the point. Not sure I would want that smell in my house. But for outdoor stuff, give it a try.

  • Cat repellent spray

This product didn't perform as advertised. Did not repel my two kittens in the least. I found a DIY recipe online that was much cheaper and worked much better. The only positive was that it did not have a disagreeable odor to me.

This works good for a while. I would have to spray the tables and around things I don't want them on everyday.

Seems to work at keeping him out of the living room. We shall see if he gets acclimated to it or not.

  • It actually works.

I read and read review after review, and was very hesitant to purchase this item, but I was so fed up with my cats sleeping on my couch, that I bought it, and once I sprayed it, the look on their faces said it all. I have only used it twice since I bought it, and I have to say, it really does work. The cats stay away from my couch now. I am very pleased with the results.

  • smells TERRIBLE

    By on

I was having trouble getting my cat to stop scratching our couch. She had two scratching posts, and didn't really use them, so I bought this for the couch and a cat nip spray for the scratching posts in an effort to deter her from the couch and attract her to the scratching posts. I can't say definitively if this has or will work for her, however I can say with certainty that it keeps me off the couch. This smelled so bad after I sprayed it on my couch that I spent the rest of the afternoon/evening in my bedroom to escape the stench. It took several hours for the smell to dissipate with the use of an essential oil diffuser.
