Rated 4 out of 5 by OMG! This thing works great! We have 2 cats, and 1 of them loves the wire brush we have, but the other 1 not so much. I bought this mitt for her, hoping she would like the rubber tips more. Both cats really like it! They'll even let us brush their fur backwards (helps get more loose fur out) with it! The cat who likes the wire brush (so funny - you pull it out and show it to him, and he comes running!) mostly prefers to have his face & neck brushed, but with this mitt, we can go all over his body with nary a fuss. And our little lady will let you rub her with it for as long as you care to, without starting to fuss to get away. It's also relatively easy to clean: you just rub the nubs with your other hand downwards towards your wrist, and the hair rolls up under your hand. You might have to do a little maneuvering down closer to your wrist, but it's still an easy cleanup. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the stitching along the elastic wristband started coming out within days, but that's an easy fix with my sewing machine. June 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy to wear and my cat loves it i was looking for a glove like this for a long time. i had a similar one that did a great job, but was so old the rubber was dry rotting and breaking apart. it does a great job getting loose fur out of my cats coat, and she loves being petted with it. just the sight of it makes her follow me around and meow very loud with excitement !!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is great. I love this grooming glove. It made cleaning up all the hair from my 3 cats extremely quick and easy. My grandson even loves using it it's so easy. October 24, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing My 15 year old long-hair Tortie doesn't like being brushed these days, so I have searched for a kinder, more gentle grooming aid for her. This glove seemed a good option--if it worked. Unfortunately, this doesn't. The fit of the glove is uncomfortable on the hand, and the plastic nubs that are supposed to gather up your pet's fur seem to have been sewn on out of place. While the wrist band is nice and snug, the mitten construction allows the rest of the glove to slip around on the hand. While so far none of this impacts your pet, it makes the job of grooming harder for you. As for doing the job it is advertised to do, the Love Glove Grooming Mitt fails. I can pet my long-hair cat with a bare hand and remove as much, if not more fur than I can using the Love Glove. The nubs are just too small to really get down inside your pet's coat. It picks up some surface hair, but those tiny nubs just don't go deeply enough below the surface fur to actually groom your pet. While I had hoped my cat would respond to my using this item in the same way she responds to normal petting, well, she doesn't. Apparently, she finds the glove only slightly less irritating than her other, more traditional groomers. I should say that before I used the item, I gradually introduced it into my cat's routines, allowing her to smell it and touch it, sleep on it as she wished. I placed it close by at play time and meal time, so she had grown accustomed to its presence before I attempted to groom her with it. That eliminated any fear factor and I was certain that there would be no problem with the item's scent or how it appeared and felt to her. She just doesn't like it. Or maybe she tolerates it only slightly more than her other groomers, but since the Love Glove doesn't really do the job, it isn't worth irritating the poor girl with it. October 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE GLOVE My cats love being brushed with this. I don't have to worry about hurting them with a hard, metal brush. October 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Traps hair purrrfectly!! We bought this mitt as an alternative to our furminator because our girl cat didn't like getting brushed with the furminator. I also thought it might help us groom them more regularly. Well, our boy cat (who never minded being brushed) absolutely LOVES when we use the mitt on him and we got gobs and gobs of hair from him. And our girl cat enjoys it as well, though not as much as her brother. And I do think we end up using it more frequently because it's just sitting down to pet our cats with an added bonus of removing lots of hair from them. I'm very satisfied; this mitt exceeded my expectations! But I will say I wish the mitt came in different sizes because my hands are small and even with the wrist strap it's not always super comfortable trying to make my hand fill the mitt. Overall, I'd highly recommend! August 30, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Reviews I read not correct for my cats I have 3 cats and none of them like this glove. Even when I use it I pick up very little hair. Nothing like the great description given for this product. October 7, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't gather fur My cat has really soft, medium fur. The bristles are gentle, but it doesn't gather up the fur to be collected on it. The one size fits all mit is suited for larger hands. It has a velcro closure, but because of the size, I don't have control or a firm contact on his body. My cat wants to chew on it more than be brushed. September 25, 2016
