Four Paws Ultimate Touch Safety Pet Nail Clipper is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don't recommend these clippers I bought these clippers because they were cheap and my old clippers (a different brand) were getting old and slightly less sharp. Unfortunately I threw my old clippers away when the new clippers arrived. After the first snip with the new clippers I knew I shouldn't have thrown the old ones away - they still worked better than the new Four Paws Clipper. I've been cutting my dogs nails for 9 years and have never had a problem. The Four Paws Clippers don't cut clean, split, splintered, and crunched the nail. Because they don't cut clean, they also exacerbate the sound which adds to a dog's anxiety. My dog is usually fine getting her nails clipped because that is part of our routine, but somehow she knew something was different this time and she didn't like it. I clipped the rest of my dog's nails very carefully but didn't get better results. I won't be using these clippers again and wish I could get my money back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Everyone in my salon hates these I work in a grooming salon and we all kind of share supplies. Everyone avoids using this pair of nail clippers because they're loud, dull, not precise, and the safety always gets stuck between the handles so they can't close. Not super mad about it cause I bought them on sale for $2.50 but I wouldn't recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Listed for Cats but NOT for Cats! This pair of clippers is listed for both dogs and cats, but it is too gigantic and bulky for cats. Our cats normally let me cut their nails without any trouble, but they really did not like the larger sound this pair of clippers make. Also, for me, since it's so large that it blocks my actual view of cats nails, I did not like it at all. From the reviews, it seems to work for dogs just fine. Even small dog's nails are thicker than cat's nails, so the clipper structure makes sense for dogs to me. It's just not for cats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and easy if your dog makes it It's easy to use and hold, easy to hide in a pocket for that sneak attack when your dog hates her nails getting trimmed. Only downside is that the quick guard isn't tight and twists around, but it looks easy enough to tighten yourself if needed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this product is easy to use Now I can trim my yorkie's nails, saving me money at the groomer. These are the same nail clippers the groomer uses. The safety is a great feature. The nail clippers are easy to use. I recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast cuts So I have a 3 year old pit bull, and ever since I made that first bad cut on one of her nails when she was a puppy she has never really let me cut her nails even with distraction or a big treat that would take forever to eat in front of her. By the time I start to apply pressure she would yank like crazy, because her previous clipper appear to no cut but instead crush her nails. So I picked up these new cutters because sending her to get her nails clipped started to add up. Now that I got the new one, we at first struggled but I think she knew I was desperate to clip her nails, so she let me and before she knew it, I was already done clipping all her nails because she didn't notice me clipping because it cut her nail fast. Not sure if it was because they were well sharpen but got the job done nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CUTTING NAILS ON MY DOG...TOUGH I HAD A TOUGH TIME CUTTING THE TOENAILS ON MT "BENTLY" DOG (10 MONTH OLD BLUE-MERLE AUSSIE). I DID EVERYTHING TO KEEP HIM FROM BEING AFRAID OF HAVING HIS NAILS CLIPPED. SINCE I GOT THE NEW TOENAIL CLIPPER I EASED IT IN ON HIM AND DO IT QUICKLY, SHORT PERIODS OF TIME. HE DOESN'T SEEM TO MIND IT. THE NEW CLIPPERS ARE VERY SHARP AND FIT IN MY BIG FARMER HANDS COMFORTABLY. BENTLEY SEEMS SATISFIED AND I AMD HAPPY TO GET HIS NAILS CLIPPED. I LOVE HIM! JOE, ColUSMCRet
