Many factors including age, breed, activity level, and individual metabolism contribute to the need for adjusting portion sizes. Two to four times more food may be required for kittens, gestating cats, and nursing cats. Kittens weighing less than four pounds and/or younger than six weeks should be fed free choice. Spayed or neutered cats may require up to 25% less food.
Determining the correct amount of food for your pet depends upon your evaluation of your pet's overall performance on the amount of food consumed along with any other food or treats given.
If feeding canned food only, the average cat requires 1 oz for each pound of body weight, best fed twice a day.

Didn't Work Out for UsI gave this to Benny, my 4 month old Maine coon. At first he ate okay, but later became much less interested and would only eat it once he got very hungry. My biggest issue with this product is that it caused him to have the stinkiest poops! So bad that my boyfriend would not allow him to come into our bedroom and did not want to touch him. The ingredients had looked great (except for the guar gum and locust gum I suppose), so I was very disappointed when this didn't work out for my kitty! Benny is now on another brand of wet food which he eats much more of (sometimes nearly 3 cans a day) and his poop does not have the horrible odor anymore!

Not badI've been feeding this to my two kittens for a few months now. It was never their favorite food, but they ate it. Slowly over time though, they've become much more hesitant to eat it and have been leaving leftovers in their bowls. I think I may have found the problem, though - I didn't realize that ocean fish was one of the ingredients. Neither one of my kittens likes the taste of fish. Also I was never crazy about the pea fiber, the potato starch, and tomato starch ingredients. These are used as fillers and can cause excess carbs in a cat's diet. Overall, though, it's a good quality pate and I like how it doesn't have any carrageenan in it. However I wouldn't recommend if your cat doesn't like fish, or if you have a diabetic or overweight cat as there might be too many carbs.

Great food, high quality, USA madeThis is a great food. It is made in the USA from USA products. I first started using Fromm in 1996. One of the cats I adopted had a very problematic Gastro Intestine. Every time she would eat, she would cry. I took her to the Vet and was given some different foods to try. Nothing worked. Then I was at a natural foods store in my area and told them about the issues she was having. They told me to try Fromm. After her first meal, she stopped crying and I could tell she felt better. I have been using this product ever since, and still am please with the food.

New ingredients BEWAREI have been waiting patiently for Fromm's wet
cat food to be a available. But unfortunately if you go to Fromm's Company website, you can compare the old formula to the new formula. They have added Xanthan gum and
Locust Bean gum. Do your research that cats should not eat this. I do not need vet bills.

Great ingredientsI'll be honest. I purchased this product because of the ingredients and the reviews I'd read. My cats loved it. Then I came across a cat treat recipe that calls for 'loaf' type wet food. So now I use the product for regular meals, and as cat treats. My kitties are eating better even with treats. I love this product.

They Finish This! This is the only canned cat food I have bought that my two cats (a Flame Point Himalayan and a White Persian) will finish. I have spent so much money trying to find a canned food they like. The Himalayan has a very sensitive digestive system too. He was vomiting at least every other day and had chronic diarrhea (I tried so many kibbles, all holistic and high quality, and canned foods...and always the same.)
They love it and it helps me keep the two feeds a day rule, which helps the Himmy behave.
