by laforest my 3 cats all like it
Used another premium cat food but after a couple of years i started feeling sorry for such a limited diet in spite of the fact that buying other food has proved disastrous. Mixed the 2 and went on food watch. They like the food equally. So now they have variety. One thing i noticed my bulimic cat rarely leaves me a pile in spite of continuing both foods. But then maybe she is sneaky and only eaten the new food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NitroPurr Cat was literally trying to rip open bag before it was opened
As the title says, my 1 year old black rescue was literally trying to rip open the bag before I had even opened it. I have never seen him so excited over dry food. I prefer to feed him wet food but when I have to leave him alone for a day or so I leave him dry food in an auto feeder. This stuff has high quality ingredients and he really seems to love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shortstop Finally a food they all like!
After trying MANY of the foods labeled healthy foods, I finally found this one and all 4 cats like it! Some of the other brands they would walk up smell and walk away. Very frustrating to find a food that was good for your cat that they will actually eat. This one did the trick. My search is finally over!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mibs Your finicky cat will love this!!
One of our cats had taken to eating the dog's food. We tried so many grain free dry foods and she hated each one. Fromm's Game Bird recipe was a shot in the dark but she didn't hesitate for a millisecond before sticking her head in the bowl and eating it all and then wanted more. I love this stuff!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anya smells like rancid potato chips
I am suprised at all the great reviews. Sure the cats will eat it, but look at the ingredients. PEAS are listed 3 times in the first 10 ingredients. (pea protein, pea flour, peas) There are 3 listings of peas before the chicken is listed in this product. And peas are listed again, a 4th time, right after the chicken. That means there is a LOT OF PEAS in this product. when did you ever hear of cats needing to eat PEAS? it seems peas are the new 'corn and grain' when it comes to pet food. the reason they list it as pea PROTEIN and pea STARCH and Pea FLOUR as well as just PEAS, is because if they listed peas (and any part of peas) as ONE ITEM it would be the first on the list of ingredients. The packaging is lovely and because it LOOKED expensive and nicely packaged I tried it. After a week or so the cats started vomiting.... I immediately changed food, and have no more vomiting. It just doesn't work for us. And the smell of the food is like old potatoe chips. I don't want my cats food to smell like chips!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gpthing Have been recommending the dog food for over 20 years
Now we also have a cat and use Fromm cat food and he loves it. Our neighbors have 10 cats mostly rescues and I gave them a sample and their cats love it and they have added Fromm to their cats diets as well. They were thrilled to tell me that one of their cats who usually has some "intestinal" trouble has gotten much better since the switch

Rated 5 out of 5 by BrianWeinMIA Great Decision
My two cats have been on Science Diet their whole lives. It's great food, but a friend told me about Fromm's and, after reading all the ingredients, I felt it was healthier than Science Diet. It definitely has less fillers and less carbs. Given that one of my cats is 22 lbs, I thought a low-carb diet would be better for him.
Both cats love the taste but what is most remarkable is my cats no longer throw up. They used to throw up once or twice a week (hairballs). That has completely stopped since getting on this food.
I haven't noticed a shinier coat or anything, but I am overall happy with the decision to switch over.
