  • Big and hard pieces need to be broken up

    By on

Okay, I won't lie: my cats don't care WHAT the brand or type of treat is, they love treats so I've never had them snub a treat before. If your cat is pickier, this may not be for them. This is VERY hard and the pieces are large and heart shaped. For my kittens (4 months) I break them in half or smaller just to be on the safe side. Even breaking them up with your fingers is hard; I sometimes have to really apply pressure and it's embarrassing for my cats to watch me struggle.

  • Snubbed by all

I was hoping that my 5yr old male cat with FLUTD would like it, but as it seems to be with anything with Urinary health in mind, it was snubbed. His sister wouldn't try one either. The dog, who is a notorious chowhound, expressed interest. After one, however, she did not want another. A shame - I was hoping it would be liked because the ingredients seem good.

  • kitty loves it

I got these because my kitty (8yr old male) is a bad water drinker and his blood work shows he is dehydrated every time he goes to the vet. To help his kidney health I got these. He loves them! And he has a sensitive stomach so fact that they're grain free is a plus! I recommend these to all my friends with cats.

  • Mine loves it!

My cat thankfully loves these! Had to take him to the emergency vet because he had a severe urinary tract blockage! Now he can only have urinary tract health food and treats which are really hard to find especially treats! So thankful for Chewy and that they have these special treats for my baby!

  • My cat didn't like these..

These are healthy treats and I got them for my 18yr old diabetic cat. He didn't seem to like these much...I tried several times and even waited until he was pretty hungry and he just wasn't interested. Tried old treats and freeze dried chicken treats from Chewy and he gobbled them up. Go figure!!

  • One of Five Cats Will Eat It

I had high hopes for this treat but our cats did the sniff test and walked away. One young adolescent male cat loves it but that's it. Priced well, wish it had been a success.

My Bengal cat loves these treats. The fact that the product has cranberries in it makes it better.

  • seems ok

Well my kitty loves it but that doesn't mean it's good for her. My little dog loves it too. So I will use it as treats for both my kitty and my 14yr old Toy Fox Terror who has high BUN readings. Won't know how good for them it is but it's supposed to be better than the higher protein treats that I am using. I will also steam up some carrots for my dog and use those as treats when I don't have to worry about carrying them around. Can't really give any more information for my review than the kids love it but I don't know how good it is for them.

  • Pleasantly surprised

    By on

Four of my five cats liked these treats, but in all fairness, the fifth cat doesn't prefer any treats. In my experience, specialized treats never went over well in this household, so these treats were a pleasant surprise. My cats are all fixed, so I am happy to give them a treat that is better for their urinary health.
