Feeding Instructions

Adult: Feed about 1 can per 6 - 8 lbs body weight per day Kitten: Feed up to 2x the amount as Adults to kittens Gestation and Lactation: Feed up to 3x the normal Adult amount

Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Always provide access to clean, fresh water. The amount of food your cat requires will depend on activity level, age, breed of cat, and climate.

Transition Instructions

It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?

Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.

Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?

All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.

What is an organic ingredient?

A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.

  • Finally! A food my cat loves, digests, and thrives on.

After much research, trial and error, frustration, and money. I found Go! Fit + Free Grain-Free Chicken, Turkey & Duck Pate Recipe Canned Cat Food. This is the only food I have been able to feed Alby that he never refuses. It has become his exclusive diet for the last three years and he is thriving. As for price, this is a high-quality cat food and the price reflects that. Chewy keeps the price comparable to the other online sites and is actually cheaper than the price I was paying at a local pet center. … more

My first posting was in Feb 2017 (kikicat) and at that time I was still using a different canned food. I made the change right after that to this Go canned food - and the other Go Pate and they all love it! I trust this company - did a LOT of research- and they get wet food 2 to 3 times a day plus I have a small bowl of the Go dry food out for them. One of my cats has a birth defect - stomach is located up in her chest over her heart and lungs - so she must eat about every two hours. She can't eat a large amount ever. So this allows me to leave the house for a few hours knowing she will be able to put food in her stomach while I'm gone. She is a senior kitty and doing well. Amazing considering her problem. None of my cats is overweight. All have soft coats and lot of energy. … more

  • My cats did not like this product

    By on

I have three cats and they are fussy eaters. I try to give them a variety of canned food. Considering the price and healthy ingredients none of them were impressed.

I like the protein content and the company as a whole. My 3 cats ate the first can but rejected the second. Will keep trying.

  • Good food but my cats will not eat it.

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I really want my cats to like this food, i think it is very healthy. However my cats like chunks or shreds, so no one is eating this. if your cats will eat Pate, i think this would be a wonderful food for them.

  • My cats love it!

Hard to find in pet stores now so glad I found it reasonably priced here! My cats are 11yrs old & they graze on the dry version during the day & get the pate' treat at night. I highly recommend getting a water fountain for your kitties. Mine are attracted like magnets & are well hydrated.

We have 9 cats ranging from 13 years to 2 years old all with seemingly different tastes and attitudes, so finding something that they all agree on is a challenge. We came across this product from my local organic pet store and purchased 2 cans of all flavors. Not one of my cats liked it until we tried it several times again at various times and now they can't live without it. All of them enjoy this particular flavor. In addition to this brand we have two other backups. I noticed that they no longer throw up as they did with other brands and they also have no flakes (dandruff# and their fur is so much silkier. • Cats hate it

    By on

My local pet stores do not carry this brand, and since it had good reviews I decided to try it. Influenced by the reviews, against better judgement, I decided to buy it in this place, where you don't have individual units but have to buy the full tray. Cats hate it even when I try small bits mixed with their all time favorite (tuna). I will have to give away the entire tray of cans.

  • what's with the prices

One week it is 88 on sale for 66, next is 66 on sale for 49. Sounds like big pharmaceutical companies jerking us around. my cats love it. I don't trust the company. They seem to be I'm for money and not what people can afford. fix the prices and I'll buy it.
