  • Not Thrilled

    By on

I have 3 cats and none of them were thrilled with it but it was eaten. No choice, either eat or go hungry. JK. Their all picky eaters. I switched it around with another flavor. Turkey and Qail and they love it. I'm thinking it's a duck thing.

  • Cats liked it

Our cats liked this cat food, but I have to point out that these are the larger 5 oz cans. I didn't realize that when I ordered it.

  • Cats don't really go for it like other foods.

    By on

My two cats have voracious appetites; they even try to raid my dog's dish. But when I put the Halo food down, they only take a few bites than walk away from it. I believe this is due to them absolutely loving all of the Weruva foods which I also get from Chewy. In spite of this, I'm still recommending this product to others (who have cats who just might like it). I don't want to not recommend it just because my cats aren't crazy about it, plus I've read that Halo is an excellent, healthy food. Wish I could write a review on Weruva foods.

My two 'boys' love this flavor of food, and they eat every last bit! i threw out more of their previous cat food than they ended up eating.

  • Rosie says yummy!

    By on Top 100 Contributor

I am always looking for variety in Rosie's diet that doesn't have chicken which is overly abundant in cat foods.. Duck and Turkey is goes over very well with Rosie and I was very pleased to watch her eat this with much enjoyment. I do wish it didn't have carrageenan. All of her other foods are carrageenan free but sometimes I have to go on what she will actually eat.. I donate a ton of foods to the local shelters that she has rejected. I am so glad she enjoys this one!

  • Grain Free healthy for cats?

    By on

I am writing this without 100% proof. But maybe there are other pet owners with the same experience? One of my cats, The Fat Cat, all of a sudden started loosing weight. The Vet diagnosed the cat to have an over active Thyroid. I have 4 cats total. I started to use only grain free dry food because the cats loved it. After about 3 month of grain free only, the cats stopped eating the food. The wet food, they do not eat at all. Any comments?

  • okay.

    By on

My two cats have always loved Halo's grain free wet food but recently one has completely turned away from the food and the other is "meh" about it. Wonder if they have made changes to the recipe.
