Rated 4 out of 5 by Persy Great food
My cats really like this food, but I wish it didn't have chunks of carrot in it (rather than blended in). I know it is for visual appeal for humans - my cat's certainly do not care what their food looks like. I have one cat, however, who throws up carrot chunks about 20 minutes after eating any food containing them. He does just fine with this food if I smash and mix in the veggies first.

I had been free feeding my two cats (7 & 19) Nature's Variety Instinct and on the recommendation of my vet, switched to scheduled wet food (one needed to lose weight and the other had hard stools and needed more moisture). I moved them to Wellness Grain Free wet. While at first they both devoured the food, it seemed as time went on, neither were eating all of their portion and sometimes walking away from it completely uninterested. I gave the Wellness about 2-3 months, but in the end, decided to switch brands.
I've been feeding them Spot's Stew wet food now since the end of February of this year. I was leery of the veggies in the food and thought for sure neither cat would touch it. Color me surprised when not only did they eat the food, but they licked their bowls clean and have licked them clean every feeding since. I'm completely sold on the Spot's Stew for my two fur-kids.
Thanks to Chewy.com for having autoship and great pricing as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mensch Really good food
I bought this food, because one of my cats seemed to have developed food allergies. The cats are not too crazy about the food, definitely don't like the peas, but eat when they are hungry. Which is okay with me, at least they don't over eat.
So far no new allergy outbreak and that is most important! :-)
Packaging should be better though to prevent the cans from being so dented during transport.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Luv4Hudson Great quality
I was feeding my 1 year old kitty FancyFeast (because it's cheap). But I wanted him to have the best so I switched to Halo. The quality is amazing, the ingredients are the best you can get. Since I switched, I noticed his coat is smooth and soft and he has more energy and enthusiasm. He sometimes picks around the carrots and peas, but still loves his spots stew! He's had picky tendencies in the past, but not with this. I couldn't recommend this food more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Josie My cat hated it !
my cat, Elizabeth, picked out every vegetable in the stew and ate around them.
Finally after several tries, I stopped feeding her the stew.
Elizabeth is a 20 year old marmalade cat and she has earned the right to be finicky.
Next order, I'll stick to the shredded chicken - it's her favorite and I'm sorry I let the sale price influence my order.

I have a couple cats who love fruits and veggies; they clean their plates. I will be buying this again for them. My cats who don't like fruits and veggies leave a lot behind on their plates but I vary what they eat from day to day so I make sure not to serve this (or the other Halo Spot Stews) back to back to keep them all satisfied.
I have a senior cat that has problems with (what we think may be) gluten. She ate this food and kept it down, which surprised me because it's not a gluten-free food (white potato appears in a lot of the foods that make her sick and there's no white potato in this product).

Rated 1 out of 5 by Teefeb19 looks disgusting
i used to feed my cat bff but i thought id give spots stew a try since it had listed a lot of good ingredients in it. i couldn't believe how disgusting its looked when i opened the can. I thought Id see chunks of food but what i got was what look like smooth mush. my cat won't even eat it. i'm going back to bff he loved that. I wish i didn't switch. Now I need to figured out what to do with a whole case of this stuff minus 1 can.
