Rated 5 out of 5 by Good ingredients My 2 cats both loved this food from the first day.Only problem the kibble is small like Origen and Fromm. One cat chews everything so it's great. The other cat gobbles the food up unchewed and has vomited up food every other day. December 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for sensitive stomachs! I have a cat with a very sensitive stomach. She vomits up just about everything. She also has long hair, which doesn't help anything! She has not vomited once since I've had her on this food. I can't say that about any other food I've tried her on. She also happens to be 16 and this seems to do well for her old bones, too. My other two cats (ages 3 and 12) like this dry food and also do well on it. Everyone seems happy, including me since I no longer have to clean up cat vomit on a regular basis! November 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I believe this is a safe food for my kitties. I have been looking for a pet food that has quality ingredients, is made in the USA and has never had any of its products recalled. Halo fits all of those requirements plus our cats love it! We have 4 cats and all of them, from the oldest to the youngest, had absolutely no problem transitioning over to it from Natural Balance. Our oldest cat has a hard time with dry food sometimes because of her teeth, but she has had no problem at all with this food. It smells great, comes in a very nice bag that keeps it fresh and they don't seem to need as much of it to fill them up. I bought the Turkey because 2 of my kitties have very sensitive stomachs and it seems to be digesting very well for them. After months of research I am VERY happy to have found Halo and greatly appreciate the fact that I can save a little money by buying it from Chewy.com. I finally feel confident that I am feeding my kitties the best Cat food on the market and that none of the ingredients will contribute to any kind of illness or detriment to their bodies. That means more to me that I can ever say! February 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Healthy Halo My cats --5-- have had Halo products for years as I trust Halo to be healthy with no fillers or by products. August 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by "Halo" saved my cat's life One morning one of my cats, Pepper, did not feel like eating anymore. After $400 in labs, meds, IV fluids, the vet had no answer. I tried every brand of cat food, but Pepper still would not eat. His sides were sinking in, and he was getting weaker by the day. Then I received email from "Chewy" ... "shipping order soon", and they had an offer on "Halo Spots Stew for Sensitive Stomach & Skin Wholesome Turkey Recipe dry cat food. I ordered a lg. bag. OMG ... Pepper loved it. So, I purchased "Halo" canned cat food and he loved that too. "Halo" is the ONLY cat food Pepper will eat. In fact, all my cats love it! Thank goodness it's the healthiest too! March 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats love it! My cats, even the 16 yo picky one, love this food. Since switching to this, I have noticed much less vomiting! My 16 yo cat was vomiting after eating dry food, but she seems to keep the Halo food down. Great product. May 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not a favorite w/Cats, a new flavor option (takes time). The title of this review is the bottom line summary. Turkey is not a favorite w/my 8 cats. As long as I mixed it with "Blue Buffalo, Freedom, Grain-free dry formula," they accepted the new taste. I chose "Halo Turkey Sensitive formula" because I needed the benefits from a dry food which is more easily digested (sensitive formula), and I actually think it helped my two cats who have food allergies (digestive issues). I plan to offer them the "Turkey" food option again, however I may try another brand next time. [My felines do not like "duck" formulas in the least bit, which of course this product has no "duck" as an ingredient.] March 26, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the food for our cat I bought this food, based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately Our cat can not keep it down, weather she has a problem with irritable bowel syndrome or ? I gave her just a few pieces to start, but it did not agree with her. It would be nice if you could read the ingredients before you purchased the product, it does contain oats, so I do not know if that was the problem. will try some more a later time to see if it will stay down.
