Rated 5 out of 5 by Kmc4020 Superior quality for a lower price
This food contains high quality ingredients and NO : byproducts, sugars, dyes, corn, wheat, soy,or synthetic preservatives. I have a kitten an adult and a senior who all love this food. It's in a 3 prong shape kibble which is easy for them to pick up. The food is very palatable to the cats and they have glossy coats, and maintain a healthy coat with minimum stool volume and no vomiting! If your looking to feed your pet better quality food give this a shot !

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jane This dry food is good quality
My cats of all ages like it. I don't expect them to love it; that is reserved for dry food of very questionable quality, and I prefer they like their wet food better than dry food. The pieces are small enough to be eaten by small kittens and the ingredients are good enough to be eaten by them. Plus, the price is excellent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Megatl Gluten product
This product contains Barley Malt, which is derived from wheat. Barley and malt, hence beer, are gluten ingredients. So if your animal is on a strictly gluten-free diet, you might want to pass on this on. This product also contains grains. The size of the food is a little big for a kitten, too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pandaspets There were worms in the bag
For expensive cat food to contain worms has made us decide to take our business elsewhere (sadly).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Catrescuer1 The best high quality cat food on a budget
I have done extensive research on feline nutrition, both as a whole and as it relates to several feline health conditions. When Natura discontinued my beloved Innova, I set out on a quest to find another cat food that was low in magnesium and phosphorous (which is important for cats prone to struvite crystal formation or who have chronic kidney disease). After months of research, contacting pet food companies, and compiling data, I came up with a short list of excellent quality foods that meet these mineral thresholds, and Health Extension Feline is the most budget friendly food on the list. This is the cat food I most often recommend to adopters (I am in cat rescue) and friends who want to feed a high quality food, but are also on a budget. The first ingredient is free range chicken, all ingredients are US sourced, and it is manufactured in New York. And, yes, cats like it. >^..^<

Rated 5 out of 5 by dmcd Highly recommended
This remains one of the highest rated foods by pet consumers and it is one of the few that I trust for quality that is also loved by all of my cats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by foodzings Great high protein dry food
When we adopted our second cat, we were given a free bag of this food. Both of the cats loved it. We'd been feeding our older cat Blue Buffalo, so we ended up mixing the two together. I'd even say that they both may have liked the Health Extension better, as they tended to eat those pieces first. The only reason we didn't continue using it is that it does have some grains (oats and brown rice), otherwise, it's an excellent option for a healthy and high protein dry food.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Maryanne Big Disappointment!
I feed this brand to my small dogs and they love it. The quality is great. I'm so disappointed in the cat version. I'm out of $26. Not like I'm rich. I have 10 rescue cats, and most did not like this food. I smelled it when I opened, and I thought oh no!! It smells like Felidae which they hated. Anyway, filled their bowls and most sniffed and turned their nose up to it. Affffff. Stay away from both brands to be safe.
