A healthy bladder starts with the right balance of vital nutrients. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Stress in the home has been shown to negatively impact bladder health as well. Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet c/d Multicare, clinical nutrition specially formulated to support your cat's urinary health while also managing stress. In fact, c/d Multicare is clinically tested nutrition to lower the recurrence of most common urinary signs by 89%. This irresistible food makes it easier for you to bond with your pet with gently cooked, bite-sized chunks of real chicken and natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great canned food for a urinary diet My cats love this food. I have four cats that are all on urinary diets due to urinary problems in the past. They all really love the Hills C/D line and we recently made a complete switch from Royal Canin Urinary SO to the Hills C/D. Royan Canin is a great choice if you are actively needing to dissolve crystals in your cats' bladder, but I recently found out that it is not a great maintenence diet for them and all four of my cats gained an incredible amount of weight on Urinary SO over the span of 8 months. My vet switched them to Hills and just in three weeks I can already see a big difference in their weights and overall health. They seem to really like the taste of this stuff, too. I feed the wet (canned) food as more of a treat for them, rather than an everyday meal source. They primarily eat the Hills C/D dry kibble. July 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our feline family love this food! After spending over $7000 on surgery & hospitalization , this product's cost is not a factor to be considered . It works & both cats love it. Our long haired female was minutes from death so we do not want to go through that ordeal again. Since our healthy male tabby, Max, is a bully, both get this food. He is calmer & Grace is less timid & no longer forming crystals. Max will eat anything but Grace hates everything . She wouldn't eat for weeks after surgery & we had to tube feed her until discovering Hills cd chicken stew & vegetables. Thanks, Chewy for great service! I have recommended your company to several friends with pets. Your customer service dept. Is wonderful! August 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitty loves this food. My ten-year-old kitty is more playful, and his coat is more shiny since he has been eating this food. He is genetically predisposed to getting crystals in his bladder because he is a high stress kitty. This food is keeping him healthy. August 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats love it! Just what the doctor ordered! My precious cat has a urinary problem and his vet recommended this food to help his problem. He absolutely loves this food and it is helping with his urinary problem. Chewy had to get the vet's approval since it is a prescription food, and they got a fast approval and shipped immediately. Thanks Chewy! August 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My girls love it They love this food. I have a 14 and a 3 yr old. When I had to change the food when the younger one was less than a year...I was worried. After feeding it to them for 6 months...the younger one (now 3) wakes me up at 5 on the weekends for me to feed her the can food. They love it. And the older one doesn't have crystals. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great food to stop urinary crystals in cats! My cat loves this food. It has finally helped stop his production of urinary crystals. Chewy called and got his prescription and mailed out the food within 2 days!! Awesome!!! August 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Seems to be working! My 11 year old cat was having issues with cystitis and we were frustrated trying to get it under control! Since starting this food, he has had no symptoms and loves the flavor. We are hoping this food is the answer to his problems. August 6, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Really Helps Our Anxious Cat We've had our 13 y/o cat on canned c/d for almost 10 years now, but he has been exhibiting more and more anxiety when we take vacations despite the expensive in-home pet care visits while we're away. This food really keeps him calm, it's not a huge change, just back to the sleepy cuddle ball he normally is. My only gripe with the food is that it's messy compared to the minced c/d; the little bits of stew get left in the bowl (and all over his food mat) and dry up. July 30, 2016
