A healthy bladder starts with the right balance of vital nutrients. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Stress in the home has been shown to negatively impact bladder health as well. Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet c/d Multicare, clinical nutrition specially formulated to support your cat's urinary health while also managing stress. In fact, c/d Multicare is clinically tested nutrition to lower the recurrence of most common urinary signs by 89%. This irresistible food makes it easier for you to bond with your pet with gently cooked, bite-sized chunks of real chicken and natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible cat food for animals who tend to get urinary stones Our Cat Pepper became extremely ill from urinary stones about 3 years ago. We took him to LSU Vet Hospital on a Saturday. Was told he needed surgery to remove about 8 stones on Monday. Our local vet was able to perform the surgery, and recommended the Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care Stress food for cats. Pepper has been on this food since then, and we have not had any problems at all. I still have him tested every six months to be sure, but he is doing great. I highly recommend this food for those animals with similar problems. You will not regret it. September 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great canned food for a urinary diet My cats love this food. I have four cats that are all on urinary diets due to urinary problems in the past. They all really love the Hills C/D line and we recently made a complete switch from Royal Canin Urinary SO to the Hills C/D. Royan Canin is a great choice if you are actively needing to dissolve crystals in your cats' bladder, but I recently found out that it is not a great maintenence diet for them and all four of my cats gained an incredible amount of weight on Urinary SO over the span of 8 months. My vet switched them to Hills and just in three weeks I can already see a big difference in their weights and overall health. They seem to really like the taste of this stuff, too. I feed the wet (canned) food as more of a treat for them, rather than an everyday meal source. They primarily eat the Hills C/D dry kibble. July 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our feline family love this food! After spending over $7000 on surgery & hospitalization , this product's cost is not a factor to be considered . It works & both cats love it. Our long haired female was minutes from death so we do not want to go through that ordeal again. Since our healthy male tabby, Max, is a bully, both get this food. He is calmer & Grace is less timid & no longer forming crystals. Max will eat anything but Grace hates everything . She wouldn't eat for weeks after surgery & we had to tube feed her until discovering Hills cd chicken stew & vegetables. Thanks, Chewy for great service! I have recommended your company to several friends with pets. Your customer service dept. Is wonderful! August 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitty loves this food. My ten-year-old kitty is more playful, and his coat is more shiny since he has been eating this food. He is genetically predisposed to getting crystals in his bladder because he is a high stress kitty. This food is keeping him healthy. August 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product & Great Service Chewy spoke to my vet and got a script and made this really easy for me. I highly recommend Chewy and this food to anyone who has a cat with a "Stress" issue. My cat has not urinated outside his box in weeks. Thanks so much!!!! August 26, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hill's C/D Prescription Diet Urinary Cat Food My 1 year old Male Tabby had to be treated in an Animal Hospital as his Urinary Track was blocked. The hospital recommended Hills C/D Prescription Diet Urinary Dry and Wet food when I took him home. He has not had any problems in 1 1/2 years and is a very happy little boy! Also, I also give my female cat the same food and she marks the area after she eats! (female cats are less likely to get blocked) but she loves the food as well. Recently, they are having something new, 'canned Vegetable, Tuna & Rice Stew' and 'Chicken & Vegetable Stew'. I also use the C/D Urinary Dry food. The food is a little bit more but after you have paid over $2,000 for your loved pet being operated on and 3 days in hospital, the cost of buying Hill's at an animal hospital is worth it. I have seen that PetValue is also selling this food. I recommend Hills C/D Prescription Diet food, just buy one can of the new wet food I mentioned above and see how your cats like it! Don't forget, We are responsible for what we feed our cats. -Martin B. February 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My girls love it They love this food. I have a 14 and a 3 yr old. When I had to change the food when the younger one was less than a year...I was worried. After feeding it to them for 6 months...the younger one (now 3) wakes me up at 5 on the weekends for me to feed her the can food. They love it. And the older one doesn't have crystals.
