Description

A healthy bladder starts with the right balance of vital nutrients. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which may lead to the creation of bladder stones. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Stress in the home has been shown to negatively impact bladder health as well. Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet c/d Multicare, clinical nutrition specially formulated to support your cat's urinary health while also managing stress. In fact, c/d Multicare is clinically tested nutrition to lower the recurrence of most common urinary signs by 89%. This irresistible food makes it easier for you to bond with your pet with gently cooked, bite-sized chunks of real chicken and natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals.

Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care Stress Chicken & Vegetable Stew Canned Cat Food is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 98.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitty liked it from the start. Sugar (a rescued cat) was diagnosed with a urinary blockage and is SLIGHTLY over his optimum weight. The vet recommended the HILLS prescription diet for him (wet and dry). He transitioned to it just fine. He is a cat that doesn't like seafood (WHAT?) so to find out that his prescribed food was chicken was great. We'll see if we can find his optimum weight and so far no urinary issues. Thank you

Rated 1 out of 5 by from She hated it! My cat is a foodaholic. She would eat non stop if I let her. This was the first dish I gave her that she literally walked away from. It looks like it's all good ingredients and it sounded healthy enough, but she just snubbed her nose at it. My other cats that do not eat prescription food ate it--they didn't love it, but they ate it. My girl that I bought this for just didn't care for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cat who has is sick loves it....as well as all the other 5 This is by prescription for my cat that has thickening walls of the bladder and suffers anxiety. I am doing all I can to help maintain her health by feeding this food along with dry of the same brand. The wet food may help increase her intake of fluids. This food also has a anti-stress ingredient which may help. Anti-stress, extra fluids and she likes it. Good combination.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My cat doesn't like it My vet put one of my males on this because of a bladder inflammation and high stress. He doesn't like it and I have to add non cd stress wet food to entice him. I wish it came in different flavors and a pate formula. My three cats free feed on the dry food which seems to disappear at the normal rate so I suspect they don't mind it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality! Several years ago had a male cat on this diet and neither of our cats would eat it! Now have a young male on this product due to bladder infection and he loves it, won't even touch the food we used to feed him and now feed to our little female cat. Must have greatly improved the taste!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vet said we needed to switch diets for our cat. Works great! Our vet told us we needed to switch to a specialized diet for our soon-to-be 9 year old gray tabby who can be a bit high-stress. So far it works very well. We are also really happy with Chewy.com, which was recommended to me by my veterinarian sister.
