  • Not much choice for UTI'S :(

    By on

I tried to keep my cats on a healthy diet and even so, one of them came down with a uti and crystals. The Vets insist prescription diets are the only way and because I don't want to take a gamble with my cats health, I tried all brands. They like this one best. Actually, they seem to like it a lot but the ingredients keep me from giving it 5 stars. I wish a quality food line would come out with a similar formula.

  • Kitty enjoys the stew!

My cat suffers from crystals in his urine, so I need to feed him prescription catfood and his doctor recommended Hill's Diet -- this is the first time I've purchased the Vegetable, Tuna & Rice Stew. My cat really enjoys it, so I'm glad I purchased it for him. I want him to have some variety in his diet. The only thing I'm confused about is what's contained in the product...specifically the tuna. There seems to be more pork and chicken than tuna. So, Hill's why even call it tuna? Other than that, I've been happy to add this item into our already happy Hill's Prescription Diet home.

  • Very happy with this product

    By on

I ordered this not knowing if my cats would like it or not. I am happy to say they love it...even more than the other Hill's Prescription canned food they had been getting previously (white ocean fish). I also like that the cans are smaller and get eaten more quickly so my cats don't start turning their noses up at food that has been refrigerated for a few days.

  • So far, so good

    By on

One of our cats does not like anything -- extremely finicky. Because she doesn't drink enough either, she has urinary problems. Vet suggested this food, and happily she likes it. Hopefully over time and with more liquids, she will get some relief with her problems.---

  • Good buy

My vet prescribed this food almost a year ago and said it's safe for my other cat to eat as well. No problems there, but its getting a bit expensive. These cans are 2.9 oz vs the other option of 5.5 oz cans. I've tried both, along with the dry food. The dry food lasts a lot longer, but now that my cystitis cat has to supplement with cosequin, he refused to eat the dry food mixed with water. It's just easier to break the capsule and mix with his wet food, which he devours in seconds. I wanted to share the price comparison of the wet canned food because I know the small cans seem like a rip off, but they're NOT! you're saving almost a full dollar per oz so don't let the small size fool you My vet prescribed this food almost a year ago and said it's safe for my other cat to eat as well.
