  • Good Hairball Control

    By on

I frequently put a spoonful of Science Diet Hairball Control cat food in with some of the cat's other food to reduce the hairball "incidents" - I have used this for years and the one thing that I've noticed is that the pate consistency and color varies from batch to batch - so don't be alarmed if it looks a little darker or is not as firm than what you've found in prior cans you've used.

  • the cats love it!

    By on

I used to give the dry hairball food as "treats" to my 8 cats. But now one of them has developed a food allergy and can't have it anymore. She also cannot have this one, but the other 7 are eating this and they love it! It doesn't have the typical pate consistency, but they don't seem to care. I've also not observed any hairball since I started this. They get it only for dinner; for breakfast they get another food

  • Cats thought it was ok

    By on Top 250 Contributor

We have 7 cats of various ages to finding a food that is approved by everyone can be difficult. Our crew generally likes a softer pate so when I opened this can - I thought they would love it. Instead, it was greeted with just a warm reception. They like it but prefer other Science Diet flavors better.

  • They did exactly what they promised

    By on

After watching their commercials and giving up on PetSmart's website, I decided to give Chewy.com a try. I found the product I wanted easily on their website. Got free shipping, paid less for the product than I would have a PetSmart. It arrived when promised, packed perfectly. What's not to like? I am now their customer as long as my kitty hangs around.

  • Not sure this made a difference

    By on

I gave this to my cat daily for a week...and he still got a hairball by the end of the week. Maybe I need to give it more time...but one of my cats won't touch it and my other does not care for it much either. Does not smell great! Not my favorite hairball reducing option for the kitties...

  • Finally eating again

    By on

Our 3 year cat had pretty much stopped eating her wet food. A friend suggested trying the Hills Science Diet which she had been using, but trying the hair ball formula since she was having problems with hairballs. It was like night and day! Jesse is so much happier, and we are so pleased to seeing her eat again!
