  • Kittens like it; adult cat hates it.

    By on

My eldest has long hard and hates getting brushed. This is the 7th brush I've tried on her and she hates this one, too. She doesn't like the circular motion and she just runs away. The kittens like it, so it's not a total loss. But if you have a long haired difficult cat, do what I did: get a human brush with plastic tips. It doesn't remove hair well, but she'll actually sit through it.

  • Best grooming tool I've ever found.

    By on

This is a great tool. No sharp or prickly bristles so my kitty doesn't try to dodge it. The rubber bristles are thick and flexible so if you use a gentle circular motion your cat might warm up to it pretty quickly as it probably feels like a massage. It gets the undercoat and kitty's coat ends up smooth and silky.

  • Gentle Brush

    By on

I have a Furminator, but two of my cats don't like it, and they also don't like the traditional metal bristle brushes. One of my cat sitting clients has this brush which prompted me to buy one for my cats. It's very gentle - I imagine it feels like they're getting a massage - and all four cats like it. It does a good job of picking up the fur, and as a bonus, it's cute!

  • These Are the BEST!

    By on

This product is the best ever for gently removing old coat from long or short haired cats. It fits the hand comfortably, is gentle on their skin and they LOVE IT! it stimulates and massages the skin as well as effectively removing a ton of coat. They stay soft and supple over many years. I bought several of them because they were on sale and now I have them in a few locations to pamper my kitties.

  • Cats accept it but no other

We have three Siamese cats and they don't really like to be groomed. We tried many other types of brushes with no success- all had wire bristles or some variation. It became a daily ordeal to groom them. Then we bought this brush and VOILA!!! Grooming is now enjoyed very much with no struggles The brush is rubber and must feel soothing as each of them immediately sits down and purrs. It's very effective getting the fur cleaned. As you know, cats have two main shedding periods and cleaning up hairballs and vacuuming surfaces daily is not fun. But grooming with "The Purple Brush" is a daily highlight now. I bought several more so they are placed in key cat areas, one is always handy. Best We have three Siamese cats and they don't really like to be groomed. • My cat loves it, but not a good brush

    By on

Cleopatra really enjoys when I use this on her. It does not really do the job of getting hair off of her but she really purrs when I pet her with this. I wouldnt recommend this as a brush.

  • Cat loves it

My LilyCat loves this brush so much we call it her "boyfriend" LOL - if I just hold it up in front of her, she'll jump up and rub her face against it, and when I brush her, she purrs happily like she's relaxing in some fancy feline spa. I like how the loose hairs stick to the brush and make a neat little mat of fur that is easy to remove when the brush gets full

  • Better than Furminator

    By on

I have used a Furminator for years and only one of my five cats liked it. I always felt like I was scraping their flesh and bone using that tool. My coworker told me about the ZoomGroom and since it was so cheap on Chewy I ordered one and not only do all of my cats now look forward to brushing, this thing gets TONS OF HAIR OFF!!!!! This is a great way to relieve stress for cats, groom them, and bond with them all at the same time. I have domestic short hair cats and it gets so much hair off of them. I have one long haired kitten and maybe she is still too young to shed but I didn't see any hair come off of her. She still loves it though.

  • Great for brush biters!

    By on

I was originally looking for a new slicker brush, but when I saw the reviews for this brush I just had to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This is a great brush for cats that like to grab or bite the brush while you're brushing them; you don't have to worry about them getting poked in the mouth or face. It's also very good at removing and trapping hair.

  • The Best Cat Brush in the World!

    By on

I have been using this particular model brush for 15 years. My cats adore being brushed with it, and it captures unbelievable amounts of cat hair! Chewy's price is 1/3 the cost you'll find for it in stores, trust me. Replace it every few years, because the silicone stiffens up a bit. You will love thus brush, too!
