This collar saved me from totally losing it. Hard e-collars weigh cats heads down. Unlike a dog who has the strength to hold it's head up with an e-collar on and push it's way around obstacles (though noisy, bothersome and damaging to furniture), a cat bumps into something and just turns around to try going in another direction. This is not good when the cat goes to use it's box, hits the hard collar on the box, gives up and turns around!!! I had to watch my cat 100% of the time to make sure he didn't decide to use the carpet as his box or get that stupid hard e-collar hung up on something and hang himself - it was fastened with a plastic tab and a string of gauze wrapped around it's neck tied in a bow - dangerous looking to me and difficult to remove and replace. When my Kong Cloud Collar arrived from Chewy my cat did a 100% turnabout. All of a sudden he was himself again. He could hold his head up, get through the same openings he always had, jump up on furniture and get in and out of his box, eat and drink with no problem. The vet agreed the Cloud Collar is great but feels it doesn't work in every instance. It worked so well for my cat I bought one to fit each of my two dogs so I'll be ready in the future. No more hard plastic e-collars banging against the walls and furniture unless absolutely necessary to keep the pet from getting to it's wound.

Was really pleased with this purchase. Much more humane than the old e-collars that look like lamp shade. The only complaint is with sizing, my Shih-Tzu needed a medium. Make sure you measure neck size.

Does the job with a pillow feel when my pet rubs against me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Katharine My pooch popped it the first day :(
Kong makes great products so I assumed this would be another hit. My pup had surgery and we didn't want to put her in the normal cone. Got her this and it seemed awesome, until she was able to pop it the first day. It also came off multiple times before she popped it unfortunately. This may work for you if your dog isn't curious about what's about her neck :/

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lauren20 This product is great!
I was a little skeptical about which size to buy my toy poodle for his surgery but decided to go with the medium instead of the small because of the reviews. The medium fit him great! He is a "bigger" toy poodle because his mom was a mini, but he weighs 10 lbs and the medium fit him perfectly! There is a feature where you can put the collar through the donut and it helped! He is a little on the long side as well, so this was big enough that he still couldn't reach his behind to lick! I definitely recommend this product because he loved it and used it as a pillow when he was sleeping! He didn't ever seem to care that it was on because he could eat, drink, and play without bashing into anything!

I had heard great things about the donut for dogs, instead of the cone. However this donut deflates slowly and needs to be reinflated every 2 days. Also my dogs neck is thicker than her head & the donut slips right off ; (
On a positive note, the cover is machine washable & soft. Makes a great dog pillow now, (when it's inflated).

Within ten minutes my westie pulled the plug on the air supply! I stuffed it with plastic bags like one person recommended worked ok BUT wait there's more!
The velcrore is so long by the time I got it to fit it was barely catching and the rest hung off for removal
He also was able to still reach his stitches where he was fixed
Needless to say the experience had challenges but still better than the cone!
Chewy prices on this item were the best in town but I am not sure what the alternative would be for the problems created

I have a 70lb pitbull who enjoys comfort. After his hip and knee surgery he needed to stay away from the incisions. The Cloud Collar is a more comfortable option than the cone of shame.
