Rated 5 out of 5 by Dawne Finally the cat eats
After weeks of chowing on the dogs' food of this same flavour, and us worrying about the lack of taurine for his cat needs, we found this on your site. Cat is finally eating right, and we get it at our door!

My cats used to love Merrick Grammys pot pie, I know they have changed it up a bit and added many different chicken options in the last few years but my cats are not impressed. I ordered this case for variety since they have always loved it in the past but they wont touch it sadly. expensive mistake, I donated it to a rescue group I work with sometimes. I really like Merrick as a company but I had the same problem with the cowboy cookout flavor.

My little Miss is not very picky and pretty much eats everything. That said, I have rarely seen her so enthusiastic about any food- until this one!! She LOVES this BIG TIME!

Cats are fussy so I can't say your cat will eat this or any other food for that matter, but the change I've seen in one of my cats in particular after feeding them exclusively this brand, is quite remarkable. Her coat is glossy and soft, digestion is much better (sensitive stomach) and even her eyes seem brighter and more alert. As long as they make this and as long as my cats will eat this brand,I will continue to buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MoniMoon Great Food for the Price!
I bought a couple cases of the Merrick Perfect Bistro flavors with different textures. This one is supposed to be shredded, but it's still kind of loafy, which I'm not a huge fan of. My Maine Coon and Turkish Van both started off loving this food, but then my Turkish Van got tired of it and started leaving more and more of it in the bowl. My tuxedo cat turns up her nose at this. She's the pickiest of the three, though. My Maine Coon still eats this up and seems to really like it, so I'll keep it in his rotation diet. If you have finicky cats, I would buy a can or two before ordering a whole case. Overall, the ingredients are very healthy and this food is priced very well. It could use a little more protein, but I have VERY active kitties. If your cats have a fairly moderate activity level, I would highly recommend this.

Ive been a long time user of the Purrfect Bistro line. My cats eat the Turducken, Grammy's Pot Pie, and Thanksgiving Day best. I am disappointed in the changes to this line. My cats loved the "juicy" consistency, especially the Grammy's Pot Pie. I have always warmed up their food and now there is not even a hint of gravy. I contacted the company and they asked for lot numbers of the cans I purchased. This is not the problem. I have purchased their food online, in the stores, and even in another state with no difference. I am currently trying to find another option, as my cats are disappointed and so am I.

This is much closer to pate. I opened up the can and thought for sure my cats would not touch it. I have one 14 year old cat who won't touch 90% of pate food, and another 13 year old cat who has never ever eaten pate food in his life, and we've had him since he was a kitten. I put it down anyway and was amazed, both of them gobbled it up. So if your cats don't like pate, this may not be the food for them, or they may surprise you like mine did and enjoy it! Nothing to hate about this food other than the way it was marketed, it certainly is not a shredded/minced food. The ingredients are great and my cats are doing well on it.
