Rated 5 out of 5 by Jessica GREAT PRODUCT
My female cat is picky when it comes to cat food. She doesn't like cheap food which is odd because she was a street cat. (usually they will eat anything) My male cat will eat anything. I bought this and boy did my cats enjoy it. They could smell the food through the bag and was trying to rip the bag open.

I opened the bag to go fill the cats food dishes and before I got back for a 2nd helping, Billy crawled in the bag for his own helping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jillpics I notice my cats' fur becomes very shiny when fed this food
I've had cats for 30 years, both my own and many, many rescue animals (56 cats rescued in the last 4 years). I work with rescue groups in NYC, and we all trade information about nutrition and other cat related issues. I've spent a great deal of time trying to find highly nutritious food at a reasonable price. One thing I noticed about Purrfect Bistro, is that my cats seem to become very sleek after eating it for a few weeks. I like the fact that real meat is the first ingredient, and they don't use useless, non-nutritional things like brewers rice, or corn, which makes animals fat. At one point, I switched to a highly rated bargain brand, and my cats all developed diarrhea, so what I saved on food I ended up spending on litter. Luckily, I found that I could get very good prices on Chewy.com, and free delivery. that saves me a lot of time, money, and heavy lifting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EarthlyAngel67 My cats love it!
I usually buy a couple different brands, but I wanted to give this one a try. My cats love it! With that thought I would recommend this brand for being one of the better smelling cat foods out there with fish as the main ingredient. My cats took right to it. The only thing I was surprised about is that the cat food itself is very tiny. When I opened the bag after it was delivered it looked like maybe from shipping it must have broken down a lot of the food into crumbs. So for me it is that I am half happy with it, but yet, not so happy with it's combination of too many crumbs ( a waste of food) and too tiny of a cat food to last long. I might try it one more time but if it comes delivered in the same condition as the current bag that I have did than I'll just go back to my usual brands of cat food that do not break down in the bag and are bigger in size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruethecat Great formula!
Previously we had purchased the chicken formula from Merrick. Most of the pieces from the middle of the bag and down were all crumbled and our cats didn't like it. Now that we got the Salmon formula, all of the pieces are whole and the ingredients are fantastic. The price is pretty good considering the quality you are getting from this. The only thing I dislike from this product is the amount of carbohydrates in it. There are lots of potatoes, and "natural pork flavor" which I am unsure of. I am going to email the company regarding this ingredient to find out what is in it. But other than that, and think this is a fine product. If you have good money though and want the very best for your cats (or dogs), a raw diet is the way to go. Do yourself a favor and research it and find out for yourself why it is so nutritious and healthy for your pets.

Decided to try Merrick because it is family owned, the cats were throwing up on all Purina and Fromm is too expensive. Well after 3 days of NOT 1 cat wanting to eat the Merrick, they would start and then walk away or just smell and walk away. I had to go buy Nutrisource for them , which they are eating. The cats are in an enclosed sanctuary so it isn't like they could get food in the wild( occaisional mouse, bird, chipmunk) but nothing sustainable, they would rather starve than eat the Merrick Salmon or Chicken.
