  • Fat Cat...Going , Going........

    By on

Vet told me my little girl is fat! Gave me samples of prescription food. One, two, three, four days-- neither cat touched it. Researched and decided upon FatCat because I've had such good luck with Natural Balance with one of my dog's allergies. They don't use fillers. The cats initially attacked this food then walked away. They were used to the stuff with all the junky fillers in it. FatCat is loaded with good healthy ingredients. They get one cup of food every morning to share. This food is higher in fiber and apparently satisfies them. Best thing::: my little girl has lost 1.2# in the last 3 weeks!!!

  • My 'BOYZ' like it

As long as they're happy with it, that's good enough for me-Stevie Ray could do to shed a few pounds anyway

  • For fat cats

My indoor kitties are getting a little pudgy and I do free feed them dry food...so when I put this out they like it well enough but don't scarf it down....which is the point...this helps them to eat less while still getting the proper nutrition that they need.

  • Great!

I have tried multiple 'healthy weight' cat chows to no avail. Since starting using 'Fat Cat' our Tortie Tabbitha has gone from 20 lbs to 16.7 in 2 months. I add some indoor cat chow so the weight goes off more slowly. It is not smart to have a fat cat lose too quickly as it can damage the kidneys etc. Our other cats eat it as well and seem OK with it. Tabby was a rescue kitten who had been starved before and always purrs loudly as she eats. She would have become diabetic if we had not found a chow that helped her loose weight. Thank you so much to FAT CAT!

  • cat has yet to lose weight

I started with 3/4 cup a day and my cat actually gained weight. I am on the second bag of feeding him 1/2 cup. He is always hungry and bugs me anytime I go to the room where his food bowl is. If he doesn't start losing weight, I will not be buying this food anymore. He started out at 18 pounds. I would not recommend at this time.

  • Disappointed in this food.

    By on

I usually love the Natural Balance foods, so when I needed to put 1 of my cats on a diet I checked into a diet/reduced calorie formula from Natural Balance. The food has a huge amount of fine powdery meal in it. There is about 1 inch of this dusty substance left in the bottom of the bowl that the cats won't eat. I'm very disappointed in this food and I won't buy it again.

we ordered several bags of fat cat food and they were all half powdered and we had to throw most of it away, we are finally down to the last bag, and they were ALL that way....very disappointed and will not order from this place again. the cat treats and litter were fine.

  • Does the job

    By on

My poor little guy was almost 15 lbs and needed to lose weight. I have three cats and he used to always eat the other cats' food. Now that I have feeders that open only to the specific cat is programmed to, I can now control what food I am feeding him. This worked really well. He is already down to 12 lbs. He was just really picky about it at first and wouldn't eat it.

  • Haven't opened the bag yet, but the bag had a hole in it :-(

    By on

I haven't opened this bag yet, as we are still finishing the bag we had. I was a little anxious of this food because some of the reviews on it were not so good, but my cat seems to like it and seems to fill her up more than the last brand we fed her. I can't vouch for weight loss yet, since she just started this brand about 3 weeks ago. But one thing about this shipment - the bag was ripped at the bottom. I had to use packing tape to seal it up to keep it fresh.

  • Review of Natural Balance Fat Cats with Chicken Meal, Salmon Meal, Garbanzo Beans, Peas & Oatmeal Dry Cat Food

My cat Max was getting very plump. I suspect he was about 5 lbs overweight. I searched for the lowest calorie cat food I could find easily and that wasn't expensive and found this one. The results did not happen fast, but it's been a little over a year and you definitely see he has lost weight. Don't know for sure how much he's lost, but he's probably at his ideal weight or close to it. I've decided to keep him on this food, and let him eat a little more if he wants since he's looking good now. Plus he seems to like the food.
