Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Duck & Green Pea Formula Grain-Free Canned Cat Food is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 214.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great quality food but my cats don't like it Our little boy Huck was recently diagnosed with Eosinophilic complex, with a large eosinophilic granuloma in his mouth. He was also itchy and had runny poops. The thought process was an allergy. Trouble is, that allergy could be environmental or food. So, we decided to start with the food. Our vet suggested the select protein diet.(We want to avoid steroids because he's only a year old.) The idea is that he is reacting to a "common" protein and that feeding him one that he had not eaten before might solve the problem. Well, I bought the duck and pea. He ate it one time and now will not eat it at all. It has a thick sort of gummy consistency to it and I tried to mix it with a rabbit formula but he did not like that either. Lamb and venison are low on the like list too. And because we have 13 other "kids" I wanted to change everyone over to the same food, but only a few will eat these. So, this is my dilemma. I guess I'll keep trying and maybe eventually I'll find something that all of them like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NB Duck & Green Pea wet cat food I have 2 cats in my rescue with IBS. I started feeding them this food exclusively a month ago and their stools are much better. No more loose diarrhea. Getting better every week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good non-chicken protein Cats aren't super excited about this one, but both ate it well enough. They like it better than Turkey flavors I've made them eat before, so thats a win of sorts. Important to vary up the protein sources. Smells and looks good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great ingredients Although this product has great ingredients, my cat was not crazy about this food, it could be because it is pate' and not shredded or in a gravy. If I mix it with another food or add lots of water, he will eat it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat loves this food My male cat is prone to struvite crystals so he needs to eat good wet food. He loves to eat but is picky with his food. I have been feeding this for over a year and it has been awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat ate it right away We tried lots of different types of wet food. This was the one she liked the most.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO MORE PUKE!!! FINALLY, after ten years of watching my cat throw up on a daily (even twice daily sometimes) basis, I have found a cat food that she doesn't react to. Thanks to some kind people on the Internet who were conscientious enough to write reviews, I thought this might work for me. My two oldest WOLFED it down like they hadn't eaten in days. They ask for it by meowing loudly, following me around and rubbing on my legs. The "sick baby" was a bit more reluctant about trying it, but with persistence, I got her to eat it. Same reaction. She acted like she'd NEVER eaten, and mowed through two bowls with no ill effects. We love it so much, we're ordering a case. I highly, highly recommend this brand/flavour to anyone with a cat suffering from suspected allergies/vomiting/etc. We even tried this brands dry food, with no success, but the wet duck food did the trick. THANK YOU Natural Balance!! My cat is like new. Or should I say "Mew." =^..^=

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Something off My cat has a very sensitive stomach/food allergies so I've been feeding him LID novel protein foods, and I've tried all of Natural Balances's LID flavors. This was the only one that didn't give him the runs (like the Venison flavor) or the projectile vomits (Chicken), but lately he's started throwing up this one, too. I don't think he's developing a duck sensitivity because he's still eating other LID duck brands without this issue. It makes me wonder if there's something about the pea formula used in Natural Balance LID that is wreaking havoc on his stomach.
