Rated 4 out of 5 by Radtech42 Good food, needs more moisture
First, to those who say there is no taurine in the food...please look again. They have chicken heart in this product. The heart is the largest source of natural taurine, so no...you don't need to add taurine to this product.
My cats like this food and it's free of gums and carageenan. It's a little denser than what I'm used to serving my cats , so I add a tablespoon of warm water to it and they seem to like it that way. I wish they sold this in a 12 pack because I'd like to try the duck and salmon, but I don't like to feed any fish product for too long and if they don't like it, I'm stuck with a lot of cans.

As a human nutritionist, and after a day of exhaustive internet research for healthy, naturally pure canned cat food I was excited to find and finally decide on NL chicken. I read all the Chewy reviews which I find helpful, consoling and understand that my cats are nuts, not me. They understand taste, not necessarily nutrition, just like people. However, I am determined to give them good, natural whole food. The journey is painfully slow if at all successful, but I will never give up. My 2 felines have never taken to the NL canned food. Yes, it is dry so I have tried mixing a small amount with a less chosen but acceptable chicken canned food with a little success. However, I've never been able to move beyond this small amount (3 cases later) with full acceptance. My solution is to supplement the chicken canned food they do like with NL's Food Fortifier, and some nutritional yeast. NL dry kibble is a hit but not part of their mainstay, aka., supplemental only. As suggested, would love Chewy to make single cans available so consumers could purchase individually other flavors in hopes of reaching the taste buds of our felines without wasting so much good food when having to purchase it in case lots and lack of availability locally, despite being in the the DC Washington Metro Area. I emailed NL & received a very detailed nutritional analysis from the owner of their food and all the trials and testing/animal nutritional studies & comparisons the company has done internationally. Positively impressive. NL also makes a frozen raw food I would buy in a flash if I did't have to send to Nebraska for or other long distance. NL is excellent nutritionally,of primary importance, with no additives or synthetic ingredients). The best of the best except for mouse in a can!

Excellent choice for my fur baby. No wheat, corn, rice, soy, potato or chemically synthesized vitamins or minerals! But must add taurine to this food! Somewhat dry so I add some water and mix in some Hill’s Ideal Balance grain free canned food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alex Great food, if your cat likes it
This was my first choice for wet cat food for our cat after looking at several brands. The competitive price along with the quality ingredients was a hard combination to beat. However, our cat refused to touch it. She LOVES to eat and we tried to leave this food in her bowl in the hopes that when she gets hungry enough she will eat it. We had absolutely no luck. We tried to mix it in with her dry food and she just picked out her kibbles and avoided this food. Its too bad really because this is a great product. I would recommend that anyone looking for wet cat food try this out with their car. If your cat loves it then there is no reason to buy anything else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Teka This cat food is recommended by Susan Thixton on her Annual List of foods she would feed her pets.
Susan Thixton, Truth About Pet Foods, is the pet owner's go-to site for trusted information about the pet food industry. She is on the AAFCO board as a consumer advocate, and there is no one like her. She knows the people in the industry, the good and the bad. Nature's Logic was one of the few canned cat foods she trusts. Just like any healthier food, without the animal digest junk, cats don't always prefer the taste, if they have been used to the lousy stuff, esp. if transitioning from the dry. This has good ingredients and she trusts the company. I have wanted my cats to like this food, esp. my ill one who doesn't eat much. I mix it sometimes and will continue to use this as a rotation food. If I feed a commercial cat food, I want it to be the one of the best, and I believe this is one. As I indicated in a previous review of another food, 4 stars is the best review any commercial cat food will receive from me--none of them, ever, will be perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nephthys I love the ingredients but the cats aren't real impressed
My 3 cats will eat this but not with enthusiasm. If I want them to finish a whole can I often have to mix in something else otherwise after a while I end up having to throw some out. I wish they'd like it, because I really like this company and I wanted to be able to have this as a main part of our rotation. Also, both this and the rabbit (which they like more than the chicken) are rather crumbly. All 3 cats make a big mess when they eat it. I mix it with warm water to make it more moist but crumbles end up flying out of the bowl as they eat so after feeding this brand canned I have a lot of clean up to do. I feed them this on the counter now to make it easier to clean up all the pieces they leave behind (and step on). As much as I like this I'm not sure I'll be buying more of the chicken. Even the rabbit they're losing interest in. I'd still recommend it to others to try simply because it seems like a very very high quality brand.

After a great deal of research on the best possible canned food I could feed my cat, I came across Nature's Logic. I had been finding that most of the high quality, nutritious foods on the market either contain carrageenan (which I don't consume myself and certainly am not willing to feed my cat) or are a shredded style of food (which the aforementioned cat refuses to eat). Nature's Logic is a pate style food with an excellent nutritional profile. I've offered Misty the beef, chicken, and turkey flavors. The transition from her old food has been slow. It's been about two weeks and I'm up to 75% Nature's Logic and 25% old food. Misty has thus far not experienced any gastrointestinal issues during the transition. I'm happy with Nature's Logic and look forward to continuing to feed it to Misty!

I was happy to find this food for the cats. This food has everything that I want it to have and does not have the things I don't want it to have. Its a great quality food. They just don't seem to care for it, but I am hoping they change their minds. I put it out for them with extra water mixed in to moisten it up, they walk up and sniff it and walk away. within a few hours they will end up consuming it, but I can't tell if its just one of the cats eating most of it as I suspect or both. Both dishes will be empty by the time the next feeding in the afternoon comes around, but they don't tear into it as they have with other foods in the past. I am going to keep trying them with this for the next few days to see if they change their minds, or will try to introduce it again in a month or two when they grow tired of the next food they have. I wish I would have only purchased one case instead of two to try out and had not thrown opened and thrown away the packing material, I would have returned one case in exchange for the Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free Chicken Formula, that they seem to like much better.
