  • My cat has allergies

    By on

I have a female RussianBlue that has been experiencing allergies. Vet after Vet and no one can pinpoint her allergies. I decided to try grain free foods, and read all I could regarding the ingredients that are have no nutritional value. Her favorite grocery store food contained wheat gluten as the third or fourth ingredient so decided to try grain free foods. She likes the Instinct brand, and loves the rabbit and duck of which surprised me. Now I will continue to feed her grain free and Instinct as I do see improvement in her sneezing, coughing, runny eyes and nose. Tried so many different brands to no avail. I am also experimenting with brands that do not contain other unnecessary ingredients I have a female RussianBlue that has been experiencing allergies. • A hit in our IBD house

    By on

IM always amazed how limited ingredient and novel protein foods still have some chicken or beef in them. We switched our guys to an all pork diet after IBD diagnoses. After seeing this was limited ingredient with pork as the second protein, I gave this a try and it's been an instant hit. What,s interesting is our guys absolutely refused to eat the prescription rabbit food as that was what we tried as our first novel protein. I'm not sure if it's the pork liver or possible the added juice, but they now expect a rabbit course at some point in the day. For the IBD issues...no real issues at the potty after they east this one.

  • Easy on Kitten's tummy

    By on

I feed this to my kitten because its the only food I've found that doesn't upset his tummy. I think he's allergic to grains, even at 4 mo old. This is for all life stages. Removed one star for expense.

  • good . He ate.

My cat is very picky. A lot of brand he does not eat. At least he ate, though he was not so eager, but for him it was already good.

  • My cat gives it a four paws up.

It would get a 5 star rating except for the price. Kitty loves it. Chewy's delivery time was great and cans well wrapped to avoid denting.

  • My cats love this....but

My two cats have eaten only natures variety for the last 3 yrs. The rabbit is one of the favorites however the PRICE has risen continually in that time. Will need to look for a different option.

  • Great for kitty's energy levels!

    By on

This is quality cat food, and my kitty loves it. She was initially reluctant to try it; I think the unfamiliar smell of rabbit turned her off. After a few days of mixing small amounts in with her kibble, she now comes running to the food bowl whenever I feed her this. I noticed her energy levels spike. She's more playful than before. The food looks and smells much better than the Purina Beyond I had been feeding her.

  • Picky eater

My cat loves the rabbit! He will not touch the duck. Since it is a limited ingredient, I will stick to rabbit. Love Chewy, great company!

  • They ate it and were happy!

    By on

I tried some raw rabbit a few years ago, using several different brands. They would sniff and walk away. With this one they walked up to it and ate till it was gone. No complaints, no changing bowls to see if the other one was better, just vigorous eating. I rotate 5 different meats now so they get a variety. All are the same brand. I like that it is grain free and doesn't have weird additives or fake food in it. My two cats are happy and look good. Their fur looks healthy.
