The ingredients in this food is very good for cats with food allergies. I have one that is allergic to so many things but he will only eat this as a last resort. Not sure why. I've tried it on my other cats that aren't as picky and they aren't fond of it either. Again have no idea why since it is a good food. It has no chicken, eggs, potato or peas which are high allergens at my house. It's very very difficult to find food without these 4 ingredients any more. Seems like the pet food industry decided peas, potatoes, eggs and chicken should be in almost all food formulas. I say give it a try if you have one with food allergies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RandiRae Good for kibble
I'm not a big fan of feeding cats dry food, especially my neutered males who are more likely to develop crystals or a bladder infection, but this stuff is decent as far as dry cat food goes. I recently adopted a 1 year old neutered male cat who was being fed Science Diet adult kibble. He was very scared and skittish, so in order to ease his transition I kept him on the type of food he was used to. I wanted to feed him better though so I transitioned him onto this. I've used the Instinct canned diets in the past when my first bengal was a kitten and had good results, so I trust the brand. My new bengal really liked this food, and I noticed he put on a little bit of weight, which he needed. My other cat even likes to steal pieces like they were treats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dilyma Great Food, all my 5 cats love it!
This is the best food yet. All my 5 cats love it. It was recommended by a friend who has 9 cats (we volunteer for an animal shelter) and all hers love it too. My big grey cat was having hairball issues, throwing up at least once a week. Since he has started eating nature's variety, he has not thrown up at all, its been 5 weeks.
My original reason for changing food was for my long hair cat, Ziggy, she was getting constipated a lot. She also is doing great on the grain-free duck & turkey! Her constipation has cleared up. It's a little pricey, but far cheaper than a visit to the vet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ames23 my cat keeps asking for more
I replaced the rabbit formula with this one due to concerns over where the rabbits were coming from. My cat loves this type even more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pauliana Another favorite of Rosie's!
Happy to report Rosie loves Nature's Variety Duck and Turkey! She's been on a roll lately, liking the new foods I have introduced.. She started itching terribly and losing fur on Fromm's Game Bird, I was sad because she loved the Game Bird so much and I decided to try her on Nature's Variety Duck and Turkey since it had 3 bird ingredients but didn't have potato in it, thinking that was the culprit. She has stopped itching on the Nature's Variety Rabbit as well as the Duck and Turkey plus she loves them both! I love that they don't have potatoes and Pees! Not good for pets that have yeast problems.. Very happy that she is enjoying Nature's Variety with no itching!

Unfortunately, none of my cats liked it and I have an expensive bag of food on my hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kelly01 For cats with allergies, this line of food is great.
Our cat has allergies to yeast, eggs and peas so this food is one of the few he can eat (the duck and turkey flavor specifically). He loves it and we were very pleased to have it offered in a bigger bag and more cost efficient. We ordered this flavor in treats, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sparky good ferret food!
High in meat /protein and Low in fruits and veggies which is ideal for ferrets. My fuzzies loved the freeze dried pieces and the kibble. It did produce a little more stool odor than just the Orijen cat food by itself. But it is important to have at least two high quality cat foods that our ferrets will eat. PS, The cats liked it also!
