I've read the ingredients on nearly every wet cat food product on this site. This is the only brand that has complete nutrition, but doesn't contain any potentially harmful ingredients, such as carrageenan and guar gum. Nature's Variety has informed me that they use dioxin-free calcium Montmorillonite clay in their products, which I've read has many health benefits.

RazzMaTazz- Tazz the terrible! fussiest of cats, loves the salmon! I was tempted to give up on finding something this nine year old monster would eat. His sitting in front of a full dish of a new canned cat food, meowing his distaste, and then resorting to crunching down a few bites of dry food and stalking to the door to be let out. Fine, go eat at the neighbors if you don't like what I feed you!. New he eats a half a can of salmon and frequently asks for more. I like that it is all salmon, bones and all! It contains enough liquid to keep it moist, even if I have to refrigerate half for later. I will continue to by this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Annie2014 Grain-Free Seems Reasonably Good
I have only been trying this food for almost two months. When I mix it with the old canned cat food, that I gave them before trying this one, both my cats will eat most of it. If I give it to them alone, one of the cats will eat it and the other cat won't. It is still too soon to know how it will better their health. Both cats are pretty healthy. One of them is overweight. I was hoping that the grain-free food would help him loose weight. he is the one that will not eat it.

Well, my chihuahua's LOVE the canned dog food of Nature's Variety, so naturally thought Gracie (my cat) would love the cat food too! Nope! She won't touch it! Guess the chi's will be eating it up instead. It is such a good and healthy product....but finicky, is finicky! :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by Woofwinder My picky eaters love it!
My cats usually turn their noses up at anything pate', but this they eat right up. It also seems to fill them up better, so they are not constantly hungry and meowing for food. Super bonus is that there is no carrageenan, which has helped with eye inflammation that plagues one of my cats. Her eyes have been much less irritated since eating this food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SarahWI6884 A favorite of my cat
I have tried the rabbit, beef, venison, chicken, salmon, and duck. I recommend the smellier of the wet food: the salmon, chicken, and duck. Although all of the products are excellent, my cat seems to prefer the ones that have a stronger smell. The beef, rabbit, and venison have very little smell at all—something I think attests to the cleanness and quality of the meat—but my cat does not seem to enjoy it as much. As far as the beef, rabbit, and venison are concerned, the vet recommended warming the food in the microwave for 30 seconds to give the food a stronger smell. I do not like microwaves, so leaving the food out at room temperature seems to work for the beef, rabbit, and venison, although, once again, it is not a favorite. It is, however, worth a try like all Nature's Variety wet food products. It is the very best wet food I have encountered in my years as a pet owner, i.e. 10+ years. It is worth every penny.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SAM99 The cats don't like this.
I bought chicken flavor, and also salmon. It was expensive, since it doesn't feed well. My indoor cars won't touch it and only one of the four outside cats eats it. I keep trying to provide grain-free, nutritious food, but I have trouble finding very many kinds that the cats really like.
