  • Cats love it

I got some Sphynx kittens who have a poultry allergy (red bumps). The breeder fed them Taste of the Wild Canyon River, which they do eat, but they seem prefer other foods, and I have an 8-year-old Sphynx who won't eat it. I've been tried both flavors of Candidae Limited ingredient, tuna and salmon, and they will eventually eat it, but it can sit out a few days. I decided to try this natures variety instinct salmon, and all six of my cats love it! I don't free feed dry kibble, so they only get this for a snack or small meal once a day. It is fairly fragrant, but not offensive in my opinion. I just hope they don't mess with the formula, because I've been noticing they've been changing I got some Sphynx kittens who have a poultry allergy (red bumps). • Thumbs up from Lucy Cat

    By on

My kitty loves this! She has been eating Nature's Instinct canned cat food for about a year now and suddenly seemed to want dry food. I'd had an old bag of it lying around and she sniffed it out and cried for it every day. I didn't want to give her that old food so I ordered this from Chewy to see if it would be good for her, and she's a huge fan. I love that it's healthy ingredients without fillers, and it's a great value since the bag will last months, I'm sure. It's hard to find salmon dry food!

  • It's A Winner!

    By on

Had to replace my cat's dry food due to not being available anymore, and worried anything new would be refused by my picky cat. Researched the possible alternatives, and decided on Instinct Original Grain Free Real Salmon Dry Cat Food. Added it to the current one in increasing amounts over a couple of weeks, and it was happily accepted from day one! In fact, she started leaving the old product behind, preferring the new! A true Success for my cat and for me!

  • Worked for my elderly kitty

    By on

My elderly kitty has evidently developed an allergy for either grain based or chicken based food. So I tried Instinct based on reviews from other cat owners whose cats had the same symptoms as mine. Worked like a charm. She passes over the Pounce treats to get at this food. She is gaining weight again, has almost no upchucks and has reverted to her old habit of biting if I give her too much attention! I was afraid, being the finicky eater she is, that I would need to try several foods to find one she likes. No troubles there. And the small wafer like food is just right for her old choppers. I'm satisfied and so is the kitty. Only drawback is this stuff really smells ... keep the bag My elderly kitty has evidently developed an allergy for either grain based or chicken based food. • great food

    By on

We got a new kitten, who wasn't in very good shape, now his fur is just silky soft, and he's so full of energy I almost think I'd get more peace if he had a worse food! He went from weighing 1 pound 7 ounces to 4 pounds in less than 2 weeks, and he's just a crazy nutcase running around terrorizing everything! The vet is very impressed with his growth and health improvements.

  • Great for my cat's skin

    By on

I get this for my old Sphynx cat who has skin allergies to some foods, even grain free ones. It works well for her, nice size kibble, not too big or small. She can be finicky with it though, eats it some days, won't eat it on others. I still like it for its health benefits.

  • Kitties like it!!

    By on

This is my first bag of this brand of food. I read a lot of reviews for it before deciding to try it. I have a 3 year old cat and a 2 month old kitten so I switched them to the kitten food. They both like it and have had no problems with the switch.

Roxi (my cat) seems to really enjoy this food. I thought it was going to take some time for her to get accustomed to a new food. Boy, was I wrong! Since I first opened the package, she was all over it. Thank you.

  • She likes it !

My cat is enjoying the new food. Since this is our first time with this brand, I wish it came in smaller bags, maybe 1 or 2 lbs. The smallest bag is 5 lbs. I will be sharing it with my daughter's cat.
