Nature's Variety Pride by Instinct Champ's Chicken Recipe Flaked Grain-Free Canned Cat Food is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally overpriced for what it is, but my cats love For a "premium" priced food with a somewhat pate texture, this has lower protein and higher moisture content than many others in the same price range. Therefore, I'm spending a lot of money on water and stuff my cats don't need -like veggies-. This food should be priced much lower for what it is. That being said.... My senior cat who is finicky about texture -doesn't love pates- and prefers fish to poultry, actually loves this food. I am really thankful to have found another poultry food he will eat, and for that I will continue to purchase even though I disagree with the ingredient composition and price. The texture is minced, and you can see little chunks of veggies -which cats don't need- and meat on the plate. The minced pieces are surrounded by a soft pate. It has a lot of moisture in the can, so it stays soft after leaving it out for a while. My kitten eats anything, so he gets the higher quality foods, that are actually cheaper than this one. We'll keep this in the rotation for the senior, in between his Weruva and Tiki cat fishy foods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommended for cats with Irritable Bowel Syndrom This particular cat food was on the list of brands for cats with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). The cat likes it and it did not irritate her digestion. I wish I could get it in pate because this particular cat is old and missing a few teeth. I would recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another winner Samson likes this stuff but he isn't fussy. I've fed at least 4 different flavors from this company and Samson likes all of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yummy & Grain-free I'd been trying for months to find a premium grain-free canned food that my 3 cats would all eat. I picked up a few cans of Pride in several flavors at local pet food location. (Note: at least in St. Louis, the major pet store chains do not carry. I could find it only at the posh premium pet food stores, in case you want to try in small quantities 1st.) All 3 like/love Pride, with chicken and rabbit ranking 1st, duck 2nd, and lamb 3rd, which only one of the cats will eat, but he adores it. They like the tuna as a change of pace, but salmon didn't cut it. I hate to review cat food, because as you know only too well, your cats have their own ideas about what they like and couldn't care less what mine think. All I can tell you is that the spoiled plutocats in my house will eat this when nothing else will do. Good luck!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good ingredients, natural and healthful 4 cats, two that are aging, (the old gals), and two big gentle boys, except we have found a shredded bird in the garage (what a mess!) That has to be Mucho and Smudge! I It is not a favorite because of the consistency. It has chunks and if I mash it up very fine, they will eat it. I gave it 4 stars, because of the consistency. I like the fact that it gets no red flags from reviewers, and has no carrageenan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cats love it The texture is slightly chunky/flaked, but pretty close to pate. It has excellent ingredients. We've tried the chicken and the salmon so far. Both were well received.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good diet for my cats, with lots of flavor choices The only way Pride could possibly be more of a hit at my house is if it came in a case that was a flavor variety assortment. I wish I had room to store 24 little 3-oz cans of each and every flavor, but I don't. And both my cats love them all!
