I was not sure the flaked chicken would go over well with my four cats. They loved it! It contains an ample amount of juice/gravy which adds to overall texture, very appealing to the cats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2Medicis Yummy & Grain-free
I'd been trying for months to find a premium grain-free canned food that my 3 cats would all eat. I picked up a few cans of Pride in several flavors at local pet food location. (Note: at least in St. Louis, the major pet store chains do not carry. I could find it only at the posh premium pet food stores, in case you want to try in small quantities 1st.)
All 3 like/love Pride, with chicken and rabbit ranking 1st, duck 2nd, and lamb 3rd, which only one of the cats will eat, but he adores it. They like the tuna as a change of pace, but salmon didn't cut it.
I hate to review cat food, because as you know only too well, your cats have their own ideas about what they like and couldn't care less what mine think. All I can tell you is that the spoiled plutocats in my house will eat this when nothing else will do. Good luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MilesMom2 My cats love this!
My senior cat has IBD so I'm very careful about what he can eat. After going through so many kinds of food brands I tried Natures Variety Pride. He can eat this food with no stomach issues and he loves it!
I use the chicken, lamb and rabbit for variety. My other cats love this as well. I highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TrishaB Totally overpriced for what it is, but my cats love it...so....
For a "premium" priced food with a somewhat pate texture, this has lower protein and higher moisture content than many others in the same price range. Therefore, I'm spending a lot of money on water and stuff my cats don't need -like veggies-. This food should be priced much lower for what it is.
That being said....
My senior cat who is finicky about texture -doesn't love pates- and prefers fish to poultry, actually loves this food. I am really thankful to have found another poultry food he will eat, and for that I will continue to purchase even though I disagree with the ingredient composition and price.
The texture is minced, and you can see little chunks of veggies -which cats don't need- and meat on the plate. The minced pieces are surrounded by a soft pate. It has a lot of moisture in the can, so it stays soft after leaving it out for a while.
My kitten eats anything, so he gets the higher quality foods, that are actually cheaper than this one. We'll keep this in the rotation for the senior, in between his Weruva and Tiki cat fishy foods.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GarrisonD It smells like real food.
There's real chicken in there.
Makes great sandwiches.
(no, just kidding).
I had someone else believe me, though, when I told them that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaineCoonMama Cats are a part of the "clean plate club" with this food
My picky cats, who only like their canned food chunky, really like this canned cat food. I like that it is grain free, and made by Instinct. I love that the first three ingredients are chicken broth, chicken, and chicken liver. I will buy it again and again through Chewy.com!

Rated 4 out of 5 by 2feral1indoor cats dig it
my feral barn cats can tell the difference between this and friskies pate, which is their mainstay. i think it might make for some stinky ones, but it does seem better quality than the cheap stuff. i feed this and halo's stew to the indoor cat. she prefers the spot's i think.
