  • Depends on your dog

My puppy was iffy with it I sprayed it on his pillow and he found away around it buy when we tested on a piece of food he would try to eat it the spit it out since he didn't have away around it. So it just depends on your dog.

  • Works well

This spray seems to do the job for my husky puppy. She bites all of the wood furniture in my house so I spray this on and distract her with toys and she doesn't go back to it for a couple days. Seems like I have to keep applying the spray every so often but it still works. Someone else wrote a review that said that this spray will get in your mouth and on your hands so beware of that. It does have a distinct taste that can sometimes get into my mouth if I'm not too careful but I just wash my hands after and it's usually fine. Other than that it does what I wanted!

  • Didn't work for my pet

I think whether this product works for you depends on your pet. I have a very determined little doggie who was absolutely unfazed by the bitter taste, and continued to lick her wound as before. The product is exactly as advertised. I accidentally got it on my fingers while spraying, and eventually it got on my lips. It is indeed very bitter, and it took some time to get the taste out of my mouth. But whether it works for you and your pet can only be determined by trying it. That's life.

  • Didn't work for us

    By on

Tried this to prevent my dog from licking her hot spot and/or tearing off the bandage over her hot spot. Sprayed this on her leg, on the bandage, and on her fur around the bandage. This did not prevent her from ripping off the bandage within a half hour of us putting it on and spraying with the Bitter Yuck. It is bitter but it only bothered her initially, then it was totally ineffective, even directly after reapplying.

  • Didn't work for our puppy

    By on

I was excited when I ordered this thinking my pup would stop chewing on my rocking chair but it didn't stop her at all. It says right on the bottle that it may not work for every dog and I got the one it doesn't work on.

  • Product should work but not with my animal

    By on

This product is very bitter, we accidentally tasted it when putting it on some items. However it has not deterred our cat from continuing to chew on rubber door stoppers. We've applied it several times and he still chews them as if nothing is wrong.

  • Love it!

Nothing works better than Yuck. I have a Doberman who is a power chewer. She was eating my door frame. Her trainer recommended this and chewy.com... and he was right! Worked like a charm and I buy everything from chewy and Yuck for a friend. My dog's food is expensive and chewy has the best price. Plus, it shows up at your door every month. You can't do any better than that!!! Thank you Chewy!
