At first he ate 'em right up (packaging says give about a week to notice difference). Kinda hard to say if they were/have been effective because mid-week he decided he don't want them no more, ugh. I'm still trying - leaving them out in middle of night (sometimes he goes for it, sometimes he don't). I have noticed somewhat of a change in his morning raging when he does take them (if he doesn't do his 5x paw-smack to my face at 5am, I go down to see if heate them, and if he did - I assume that was why he didn't harass me on that particular day -_- )

  • I recommend this for dogs

    By on

I bought it for my cat, who will not eat them. Gave two to the visiting dog that normally loses her mind during thunderstorms. With only two treats (large dog) she was fine during a wild thunderstorm. There is a dog formula, but this has more L-tryptopahn in it, so I will buy it again for this dog.

  • Cat won't eat it

    By on

I couldn't tell you if it works or not because the cat will not eat it. Based on other reviews, it looks like many are having this problem. Very disappointing.

  • I can't get her to eat these. Not sure why.

    By on

I try giving these to Chloe about 30 minutes before I have to give her daily insulin shot. She just sniffs and walks away. I have no clue why. But I keep trying. Hopefully she will go ahead and eat one soon. Getting her calmed down before these shots surely would be helpful as she stress so bad.

  • Kitty doesn't really like them but he does eat them eventually.

    By on

I need them for him to keep quiet at night and stop the constant meowing, so I put them down just as I retire for the evening. He won't eat them at that time, but eventually he does because after initially meowing right after I go to bed (he is kept outside of the bedroom), he stops and is quiet the rest of the night until about 7 am. When I check his bowl in the morning, he has eaten generally 2 out of the 3 chews. Generally it works overall but I wish he would eat them right away so he would be calm when I retire for the evening.

  • Calms my older cat

    By on

We have a 17 year old male cat which frequently walks and talks between midnight and 4am ... I mix/crush 3 quiet moments chews in a tablespoon of lite cool whip ... He loves cool whip and eats most of the chews usually between 7pm - 8pm each night ... This has really reduce nightly disruption for us. So quiet moments work great for us and our cat.

  • Wouldnt eat them

    By on

Out of my six cats only one would even eat them. For her they did seem to chill her a bit she wasn't so frantic during our last storm but over all they aren't amazing.

  • Works Wonders

    By on

I have a cat with severe anxiety issues. He never fully trusted anyone. With these treats, he has become a completely different cat. Sitting on my lap by his choice. Not hiding when he sees a brush. Sleeping with me instead of under the bed. Climbing on me to rub his face against mine. Eating his food while someone is in the same room I agree that they are a little large. I cut them into thirds and put 1 or 2 in his food twice a day. He gobbles them right up. My cat is a happy, friendly cat now and we are both thankful that I found this product!

  • Fussy Cats!

    By on

Unfortunately the only animal in my house who would eat these treats was my dog - all three felines turned their collective noses up at the product. I'm not sure if it is the scent or large size which offended their delicate palates ! However I did pulverize the chews so that I can add it to their food. So far I'm only adding a tiny pinch - I need to find the tipping point - so I'm not sure if they are receiving any benefit. However they seem slightly calmer or are they just watching my every move checking on what additions I'm including in their food! Who knows!

  • From Screaming Siamese Demons to Content Kitty Companions

    By on

Although the cats won't eat them unless I break them up and mix them into the wet cat food these treats do work as advertised. I have a pair of (2 yr and 6 mo old) Siamese Demons and these treats definitely contribute to peaceful coexistence in our house. I absolutely notice the edginess vibe return and angst levels rise when I slack off in giving them each two a day. They were constantly tearing around the house trying to fight each other before I introduced these into their diet. To be fair, I also introduced a Pheromone Diffuser at the same time, but I only notice the reversion to the antagonistic behavior when these treats are omitted from their diet.
