  • Seems to help in the car.

    By on

I bought this as a way to calm down our cat when he is in the car. He tends to pant a lot and can be quite vocal too. Sprayed in the car before having kitty in the car. Seems like he doesn't pant as much anymore and I Have noticed he is much quieter now too. Seems like it works

  • Helps me get some sleep too!

    By on

This works great - my cats like to sleep on my bed, so about 20 minutes or so before bed, I spray this on my bedspread and their blankets on the bed. I have one who likes to walk around for a long time before finally settling down, but this spray has worked wonders for that!

  • Seems to work

    By on

I have an aggressive 8 year old female and my husband thought it would be a great idea a few years ago to get a male kitten. It has been almost 3 years now and the female has never accepted the new arrival. I know I can't keep her from attacking him mercilessly, but the spray keeps her from hunting to find him and insistent pacing. We have to keep him blocked off in a safe area and this product also helps to keep him calmer when she is in the area.

  • Seems to have calmed Timber

    By on

Timber had to go to the vet for blood work. So stress was a factor. I got this the morning that I was to take him to the vet. He seemed more relaxed and no nervous drooping. I would recommend others to try this.

Still too soon to tell if it is going to work permanently, but so far, so good - no pottying where he was before!

  • very helpful for elderly kitty

    By on

My elderly kitty (almost 19) started howling at night, waking us up every 2-3 hours. We were at our wits' end. We tried feline pheromones, spraying her sleeping and resting areas-not on her- every 12 hours (recommended by our holistic vet). Sure enough, our kitty vocalizes at night much less! Every 6 hours or so for a shorter amount of time It helped to get up with her to change her water, talk to her and brush her for a few minutes, to help her calm down (which hadn't really worked without the pheromones). We are very pleased with this product. It will be worth a try for anyone having this kind of difficulty with their cat(s).

  • Scared my kitty

    By on Top 100 Contributor

My kitten was taken away from her mom and litter when just 4 weeks old and so this may have something to do with her response to this spray, but she jumped out of the snuggle bed I sprayed it on and would not go near it (repeated trials). She also did not want to go into her kitty house (crate) that I had sprayed it in. I will try it again as she gets older to see if she has a different response and will update my review accordingly.

  • Relax Your Cat

    By on

In preparation for a move, I've been spraying the interior of the cat carrier daily. My cat gets completely freaked out about being transported anywhere and generally runs for the hills when he sees the carrier. Would NEVER before get in it on his own. Now, he takes naps in it daily. This isn't to say he won't bolt when I try to zip it up, but it's a start.

  • Safer ingredients than Feliway

    By on

I use this in tandem with Feliway diffusers and spray, since I have 5 house cats, and sometimes they get a little territorial, or transfer aggression when an occasional stray wanders within sight, or there's a strange vehicle in our rural neighborhood. Also I have mild-to-moderate chemical sensitivities. Quiet Moments Spray contains 3.06% pheromone (I called the company - it's not on the label), while Feliway contains 10% pheromone. Feliway is 75 ml, while Quiet Moments is 240 ml. So, because of it's wet spray, I use Quiet Moments as a more broadcast spray at 'cat height' on areas I don't mind getting wet; while I use Feliway in concentrated areas such as near door frames and other blind corners I use this in tandem with Feliway diffusers and spray, since I have 5 house cats, and sometimes they get a little territorial, or transfer aggression when an occasional stray wanders within sight, or there's a strange vehicle in our rural neighborhood.
