Rated 5 out of 5 by Jane A decent quality cat food
My adult cats are wild about this food, and clean it up every time I feed it. Although not an all stages cat food, I have used it successfully with kittens not interested in eating, just to get them going.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JC71 Good nutrition for a chunk-style food
There aren't too many chunk-style canned foods out there, so if you've got a cat who strongly prefers this texture, your options when seeking better nutrition can be frustratingly limited. Nutro's Max Cat line offers several chunk-style foods that are among the best nutritionally I've found for this type. The Chicken Supreme is 36% protein, 55% fat, 9% carb, and relatively low in phosphorus at 173 mg per 100 kcal. No soy or carrageenan, though it does contain some potato starch and wheat gluten (fifth and sixth ingredients). All in all, not bad, and it's moderately cheaper than the premium brands. The ingredients are processed into rather large, flat, floppy squares which some cats might need chopped up, though mine enjoyed the toothsomeness of the larger size. Note that there isn't much sauce here, just a bit of slightly thickened broth; the chunks stay moist for hours even if the cat licks all the sauce off straightaway, so mine didn't mind, but serious gravy-lovers might object.

Rated 5 out of 5 by REngle Healthy Kitty Crack
This is really great stuff! And, healthy, too. Check out the specs on some of the web sites disclosing nutritional information, and you will find that this is low in phosphorous and low in carbohydrates. This food is healthy for your cat's kidneys and will keep your animals trim. Cats are obligate carnivores and definitely do not need carbohydrates.
As for taste, every one of my 5 cats gives it an enthusiastic paw up. They eat every bite of this food, and frequently ask for more. I call it "Kitty Crack" because they love it so much. But, loving something that has some of the best nutritional specs of any cat food is a positive thing.
This is a chunky cat food, but even my cat Inky, with only a few teeth left, has no problem eating it. In fact, he practically inhales it. I had been feeding my cats Science Diet chunky chicken dinner, which they ate but didn't like nearly as well. I wanted to get off the Science Diet because its ingredients are not the best, and it has way too many carbs. I am happy to have found Nutro Max Adult Chicken Supreme Entree Chunks in Sauce Canned Cat Food.
As for Chewy's service, selection, and prices -- simply the best! Go with auto-ship for a discount. You won't be disappointed.

by Beverley My cats loved it!
To find food that my finicky cats like has been next to impossible until I tried Nutro Max. I give them each their own can twice a day and they actually finish their food! It has good sized chunks of meat and just enough gravy to keep them satisfied. I recommend this brand highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elizabeth Older Cats Love It!
I have two cats, 18 and 17 years old, who get finickier every year. We've tried giving them just one food, even the one that I'm praising here, but they'll have none of that! The Max Cat Chicken Supreme is the one food we've found that seems to satisfy them every time, as long as it's not the only food they're given.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joseph Product appeals to our finnicky cat
Having searched through a number of wet foods for our cat who, to say the least is a picky eater, we were pleasantly surprised by her response to the Nutro Chicken Supreme product. She loves it and it is now our go to food for her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jayla both love it
I have a diabetic cat and a CKD cat-
Finding a lower carb food they can both eat is a challenge. They both like almost all of the MAX cat foods so far (the low carb ones)
