Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Salmon not as well liked as the Duck All of the cats here really liked the duck, but only few will eat the salmon flavor. Which is odd around here as most of mine prefer foods with salmon or herring. This dry food is now in the rotation of three different ones. Gave it 4 stars as some of the ingredients either need not be in there or are not up to my standards. It is in my humble opinion a pretty good food, grain free and the cost is reasonable. Rated 5 out of 5 by my cats like it One of my cats is gluten intolerant, but all of my cats eat it. September 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Proven 4 cats And they love this food, and sit beside it asking for more when the bowl runs empty. I have always kept this in my rotation, even my diabetic fourteen year old does good. The vet likes this food for her as it has made her insulin shrink, she is active and far happier than she once. My fifteen year old is extremely picky but this one he loves and tries to sneak bites. My two and six year old enjoy this immensely, and choose it above the Earthborn. April 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Healthier coats less shedding by my dogs & cats I have been using Nutro Max for 10 yrs on all my dogs and cats. They have healthier coats, less shedding all year long. They also have, how else to say, I don't know, but their stools are smaller and less "FOUL" smelling and they biodegrade quickly in the yard. Only because there is less or no filler junk in there food products, I presume. My backyard doesn't smell like a dog toilet. Neither do my cat boxes. Because it's a higher protein and no junk fillers, they aren't pooping all the time. They are more active, less shedding and less poop. WIN! WIN! I say. Oh yeah almost forgot the other bonus healthier teeth and gums. No tarter build up on dogs or cats. Another WIN! WIN! No teeth cleaning needed. Yeah. Save money for mommy to buy more critter toys and treats. May 30, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by B-E-S-T Cat Food EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Romeo, one of my RESCUE Cats and HOUSE cat ONLY as they ALL are has a shiny and very thick back full of hair since I switched from Blue Buffalo to this food I will NEVER switch again !!!! Before he had a rash and very sparse hair on his back but not NOW LOL !!! "Thank" you Nutro !!!!! (Signed "Romeo" and Linda Parsley FOREVER Customers ) February 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Raining on the Parade Sorry, there seems to be quite positive reviews on this food and here I am with a big negative. I wanted a good healthy dry food for my crew (3 rescues) and based on the reviews bought Nutro. Unfortunately, it didn't go over well, one even got sick on it. So I started giving it to the stray outdoor guy & he hated it. My cats are pretty picky but they really have an aversion to Nutro. I also question why something that's salmon & potato is green?
