Our two male Ragdoll kittens do not like the only other kitten canned food that Nutro makes, Minced Salmon. Consequently, they are getting very tired of the Nutro KIitten Soft Loaf Chicken Recipe Canned Cat Food! Why doesn't Nutro make more variety than two choices? Kittens can be fussy, too! Neither of our boy kittens like the salmon, but need to have another choice other than Chicken!

This is a great food for a kitten. Love, love, loves it. Am feeding as directed with Probiotics as directed. Could not be happier.

Our kitten loves this food. The dish looks like it was washed when she is done. It is smooth, so tiny kitties can eat it easily, and it can also be mixed with KMR to boost calories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnaJ Excellent for weaning kittens
Soft smooth texture is excellent for weaning kittens. One of the hurdles in getting bottle feed kittens to transition to wet food is texture. Most other brand kitten food have a grainy texture which kittens reject.
With this, I am able to wean in a matter of a couple days and a good week earlier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Songbird Better than any other canned kitten food
We have three new kittens and they all love it. No coaxing, they just dived right in and licked the plates clean. Makes a great food for weaning.

The texture of this is similar to Critical Care A/D. I highly recommend it to syringe feed animals that are old and needing extra feeding to keep that weight on. I rescue animals, and keeping that extra weight can mean life or death. When a compromised or elderly animal even loses 6 oz of weight, it is critical to start assist feeding immediately and take to vet. This stuff is great to have on hand, if you do not have your prescription for the Critical Care A/D or if your budget is tight.
