  • It's a hit for my picky eater

    By on

My older girl has had the same brand food for 11yrs. but lately she's had a few tummy issues. She is a senior, so I felt maybe we should "try" some senior brands out. This older picky girl loved this brand. I love that it's senior, soft loaf and GRAIN FREE... Huge plus for some tummy issues. Only down fall is there are ONLY 2 flavors in the SENIOR Soft Loaf, Grain Free!

  • My senior kitty gives it five stars

    By on

The vet told me to put my kitty on canned food (she had been eating kibbles). She likes all canned food, but she finds it easier to eat the "loaf" style food, which is a very finely ground pate. She cleans up every drop, and it is wonderful to be able to give my old kitty, who is going blind and deaf, a treat that she loves and looks forward to.

  • Elderly cat gained weight

    By on

Bought this because one of my elderly cats was getting too skinny and licking her belly and chest fur off. Switched from science diet and I can see and feel she has put on weight and her fur is starting to come back. I like that it is cleaner too - less bits left in the bowl after they finish their meals.

  • Excellent but have a complaint

    By on

My only complaint with this food is at my cat won't stop eating it. She was sick and it was all we could feed her for a while and now she won't eat dry food cuz she likes this food so much. Very thankful for this food and happy it's cheaper than a lot of the soft foods.

  • My cat loves it and is no longer throwing up

    By on

Found out our 15 plus year old cat has hyperthyroidism and throws up all the time. My stepson is our veterinarian. Sonny, our cat, is being treated for that. But every cat food we've tried, he throws up. So far he's doing great! Plus Sonny loves it!!!

  • Okay, but really densely packed

    By on

Cat liked it okay - it pops out of the can literally like a hard loaf of meat. It's difficult for my cat to chew, and I may go back to a canned variety that has more easy-to-grab and chew chunks.

  • Excellent product

    By on

I tried this for my kitty with health concerns that sometimes affect her appetite. She loves this formula and along with getting her medication doses tweaked just right she has gained weight that she needed to.

  • Amazing cat food!

    By on

I have a 14 1/2 year old rescue cat who I got when he was 10. I had problems with him throwing up 3-5 times/week. Switched can food so many times. I finally tried Nutro soft loaf senior and adult. He gobbles it up and he's up to 2 cans a day. He only vomits once every two weeks and sometimes it's only a hairball. Since he only likes pate-style canned foods, I cannot comment on the other consistencies available by Nutro. The price is comparable to other better quality brands. I highly recommend.

  • The perfect food for my elderly cat

    By on

Finally I found the right cat food for "Grampa" He's 17 years old and suffers from a sensitive stomach. He was one tooth so the consistency is perfect. It's been several days without him getting sick which alone is worth it!

  • clean bowls every time

    By on

My vet recommended I feed my cats a senior wet food and it is difficult keeping a variety of flavors in a healthy brand that they both like. This one is a big hit along with the chicken loaf for seniors. They both gobble it up and are looking for more. Very happy with this brand.
