  • So glad I bought these

    By on

What a great help these have been to my sweet kittie. Greycee was limping and although a visit to the Vet and a treatment with anti inflammatories helped, I wanted to give her something for on going support and relief. The joint chews are doing the trick! She is back to her old self and having no trouble jumping as she used to and the limp is gone! I also give them to her brother who is her litter mate to give him support for his joints too.

  • Kitty LOVES these and they've really helped

My (almost) 19-year-old cat was on Cosequin for a few years and never had an issue with it. A few months ago, kitty developed a series of health-related issues, and our vet suggested that we suspend the Cosequin until kitty's health improved. By the time kitty was herself again (albeit on a variety of new meds), she had zero interest in eating any food that had Cosequin in it. This, of course, was completely frustrating, as Cosequin was an important part of kitty's ability to walk and ambulate with less pain. Not knowing what to do, I Googled "Cosequin alternative" and was incredibly fortunate to find the Pet Naturals. From Day 1, kitty has INHALED these and seems almost disappointed that My (almost) 19-year-old cat was on Cosequin for a few years and never had an issue with it. From Day 1, kitty has INHALED these and seems almost disappointed that I don't give her more. I think they've done a good job replacing the Cosequin. I will say, as others have noted, that these aren't quite "chews" as they're hard and should be broken into smaller pieces. Also, I think I read online that starting out, you could double up the dosage (servings?) to build up in your cat's system, but I didn't feel comfortable doing that. In the end, as long as kitty keeps inhaling these I'm going to keep buying them. … more

  • Very palatable

    By on

All my cats love these hip/joint treats and gobble them up., despite their dental issues! They are a little pricey especially wen you are still in the loading dose phase. I have seen some improvement already despite my lack of consistency on twice a day. Also, I believe one needs to give joint supplements at least 2-3 mos to judge efficacy.I'll write a follow up when we get to that milestone.I have 4 senior cats and 3 mature cats. The most needy 3 get the treats. I also like the absence of wheat and corn, artificial ingredients!

  • Were Worth a Try

Unfortunately my cat won't go near them. Assuming it's the taste. Too bad. Thought this might really help her arthritic limp. :(

  • Picky kitty loves her medicine-treats

    By on

I didn't have high hopes for these, since my 15 year old cat is so finicky about food and treats. But she loves them so much she won't touch her regular food until I give her her medicine-treats. She's been on them three weeks now and we've already seen great improvements in her mobility and zest for life. I'm so glad we tried these. I do wish they were a bit softer, but she manages just fine.

  • Winner with my cat

    By on

I was nervous ordering these as it seems like many cats do not enjoy glucosamine treats. My 13 y.o. cat can be picky at times but really enjoys these as a pre bedtime snack. He has slowed down but hasn't shown signs of pain as cats hide it well, so I can't rate the effectiveness of it. I use it as a preventative measure and hope this will reduce the pace in which arthritis can occur.

I had high hopes my cat would eat these after reading the reviews but he smelled them and walked away. Disappointed.

  • Our big boy loves it!

    By on

It's not common but our oldest male cat has a luxated patella. We got his weight down (18 is a lot for even a big boy like him) and that, along with this product, helps a lot. He can jump and do all the cat things a 11 year old can do when he still acts like a kitten. And he loves them, which is important unless you want to cram it down their throats.

  • Amazing Results!

    By on

My cat is approaching her 22nd birthday so I expected her to slow down and need pet stairs to get up on the couch or bed. I then read an article that talked about how cats hide arthritis even though they may be in great pain so I thought I would try this product. After a few days I noticed a difference and thought it was wishful thinking. It's now been 11 days and I'm seeing her get up and down more easily, increased grooming and she has even started to play again granted only for about a minute. I highly recommend this product even if you only suspect your cat has arthritis.

  • Took my 50/50 chance

    By on

After reading the reviews I took a chance that 1/2 cats would eat them. Well no one likes them :( I tried hiding them in canned food which worked for 2 days before my kitty found them & refused to eat.
