  • He LOVES it!

    By on

My vet recommended that I get lysine for my boy to help his immune system. He continues to get chest congestion and coughs, sneezes, wheezes and looks so miserable. You can hear him struggling to take a breath when this happens. He's very picky about what he eats and usually turns his nose up at most treats but he really loves this. Even though it's bite sized, I have t break it in half for him - he's very spoiled! My other cat loves them too!

  • Tried it twice now

    By on

Perhaps my cats are especially picky but of all 8, not even one will eat these. I've tried them twice now to no avail. NOTE: I feel it's important my cats get Lysine daily. The powder seems appealing to them but not these chews. Bummer.

  • Good Price, Tastes Bad

    By on

Compared the ingredients as best I could and they seemed to all be the same. Bought this brand, and my cat won't go near it. We ordered another brand that she eats like they are treats.

  • None of my cats will eat them

    By on

Disappointed, none of my cats will eat these. Going back to the 500mg human supplements and crushing up in wet food.

  • Tried, but cats do not like

    By on

Some of my cats have sneezing problems so I tried the granulated lysine. It worked all right but I decided to try the chews. None of my cats would eat the chews even when I mixed them with the treats I give them. They ate the treats, but not the chews. The chews seem to have a very strong smell maybe that is why.

  • Still not sure

    By on

We've had these for awhile now but my cats symptoms are still here. He likes them so I'm going to let him finish the bag, but might seek out something else. Still gonna give another week to see if they're helping with his respiratory issue.

  • Good product for my cat

    By on

My nine year old black cat has had a problem with goopy eyes. Our vet recommended L-Lysine for him and we originally bought some from the vet clinic. My sister had been purchasing this brand and suggested it would be cheaper than the treats from the vet. I ordered one bag. Mister, my cat, loves them. He has no problem with the thick quality of the treat and chicken liver is one of his favorite flavors. I would recommend these treats to anyone.

  • Great Product

    By on

My cat Tux takes the L-Lysine Willingly and has kept him from respiratory infections. When adopted Tux I did not know Tux had been exposed to URI (Upper respiratory infection) since he was not weaned from his mom as a kitten his immune system was compromised. I was told he would need to be on the lysine to boost his immune system. He has not any infections in 2 years the L-Lysine works really well. I recommend it to anyone who has a cat with a compromised immune system

  • My cat won't eat them

    By on

Hard to say if these help or not because my cat won't eat them! I have tried giving them as treats and also sprinkled in her food, but she just eats around them! This must taste gross to cats.
