Rated 1 out of 5 by Debbie9cats Too hard, cats wouldnt eat
I wanted to try this as apposed to buying my normal brand and to no avail none of them wanted anything to do with it, I tried breaking it into little pieces and they still wanted nothing to do with it. I've 8 cats who need to have lysine for their immune system and their respiratory system, these chews are too hard and dry even though I tried to wet them the cats wanted nothing to do with it. So, NO I will not recommend this product. I'll be going back to the brand they like to keep them healthy.

My kitten didn't really like these as they were very hard and too large for her to eat in one bite. I have been giving her the Viralys oral gel everyday, and was hoping that these would be an easier substitute for that, but nope-- I'll stick to the gel.

Two cats both have URIs. They come running when I shake the bag. Have not purchased from Chewy yet - just signed on to price check. Bought two bags locally for $10 each today. Will be purchasing here for much less next time!

I bought this product but my cat won't eat them. They are too hard for his teeth.I thought it was just his age but my younger cat had a hard time, too. Will not buy these. Throwing the bag away :(

My cats are older so this product was not usable. Too hard so I had to break it up into tiny pieces. Not my fav thing to do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Frappe Anything but chewable!
After reading such rave reviews about the benefits of lysine, I decided to give these chews a try. Five of my seven cats were struggling with an upper respiratory infection, so I thought it was a good time to implement this essential nutrient into their diet. I was very disappointed when I opened the package and handled one of the so-called-chewables. There is no way I was going to give these to the cats since they are not soft and certainly not chewable. They are like stale gummies. Rather than waste the product, I used my thumb nail to scrape off small particles that I then mixed in with their food. Only two of the cats would eat their food. Our vet gave us lysine gel in a pump, so I tried it. One cat loves the gel and will lick it off my finger, and a few others will eat it if it's mixed in with a smelly food like tuna. If I can't give the bag of chews away, they will be thrown out, but I am going to keep trying to incorporate the lysine gel into my cats' diet.
