Description

When immaculate lawns turn into dug-up dirt fields, your first guess is usually the right one: Daisy did it. Keep your dog away from off-limit areas outdoors with the PetSafe Pawz Away Outdoor Pet Barrier. A transmitter designed to look like a rock sends a high-pitched tone and the included collar emits a static correction to remind your pet pal that there are some places doggies just shouldn't go. Add as many Pawz Away Outdoor Pet Barriers as you'd like to designate more parts of your yard as "Pet Parents Only!"

Key Benefits

  • System includes: Waterproof Barrier Transmitter (4 Alkaline D batteries required, not included), Waterproof Receiver Collar with two 3-volt lithium batteries, Operating and Training Guide Test Light Tool. Transmitter uses 4 D batteries (not included); receiver collar uses two 3-Volt lithium batteries (included).
  • For outdoor use only with dogs and cats 5 pounds and up, collar fits neck sizes 6-28".
  • Protect an area up to 16 feet in diameter with no wire or create a custom area up to 150 feet using boundary wire (not included). Add Extra Outdoor Pet Barriers and Extra Indoor/Outdoor Collars for any number of pets and protected areas.
  • Progressive Static Correction- begins at the lowest level and increases to maximum in 3 seconds. Collar stops delivering correction after 15 seconds.
  • Lightweight, waterproof receiver and transmitter disguised as a rock to blend seamlessly into your landscaping.

  • Not great on cats

I got this device for my outdoor cat (used to be feral cat, and is about 12lb), who started stealing food from my next door neighbors. The device works in my hands, but the collar is not fitted well for a cat's neck. Hence, it rarely "buzzez" the cat. I shaved my cat's neck, hoping it will help. The problem is that the receiver is too big and connectors are too wide apart for a small neck. For this device to work well on a cat's neck the receiver should be also slightly rounded (to fit small rounded neck) and the collar should be made from stretch material (like bungee). Otherwise - my cat has shaved neck, the collar is so tight on him that it chokes him, but he walks by the rock and rarely I got this device for my outdoor cat (used to be feral cat, and is about 12lb), who started stealing food from my next door neighbors. This item was prefect for what I needed. I had to buy an extra collar, The rock was so so easy to set up, the only issue, that the area it covers. I'd buy it again

  • Works great!

I bought this to help keep my 1 year old Labrador retriever from digging. It worked so well, I bought a second "stone" with a spool of wire to use around a flower bed. They work perfectly!! Worth the money!!

  • Quick and easy

Works like a charm. My dog used to jump up on the wall and since I installed the system with a wire extender problem solved.

  • Worked for 3 days

Bought two of these for my German Shepherds that kept digging a hole in the same spot in the yard causing the dirt to fly into our swimming pool. For the first 2-3 days both dogs avoided the area and I thought we finally won! However by the 4th day one of the dogs was able to get close enough to it to push it out of the way... When I got home I found both rocks a good 10 feet from the hole, and the hole had been dug again.... I checked batteries, checked transmitter, filled in the holes, put the rock back and sat by the window.... and watched as the little jerks would run up to it, push, run away and come back and keep doing it until the rock was out of the way.... • Doesn't work.

Bought it to keep dog out of seeded area. Prior reviews stated that the range was only half of what the description indicated. My dog sat down next to the transmitter...in the seeded area. Guess I'll be returning it.

well purchased this system after looking around and trying different things to keep my Rottie off our back porch and patio furniture. She has a huge insulated dog house and a two level deck but lm sure because the concrete porch is cooler she wants up there. So now ive had the system set up for about a week now. it seems to work pretty good. The distance possibly isn't quite 16ft diameter, maybe 12-14 but she is for the most part staying off the porch. she will lay right at the edge where the deck meets the porch but wont get up by the door or on furniture. i moved the rock more to the middle of the porch under the table and the next AM she was laying up by the door so that told me that it didnt well purchased this system after looking around and trying different things to keep my Rottie off our back porch and patio furniture.
