Description

If your kitty is finicky with litter, look no further! This Litter has no added perfumes or fragrances that could be offensive to cats. It clumps on contact by immediately absorbing urine. This quick clumping action traps the odor-causing bacteria, and odors disappear. Clumps will continue to harden and dry until all liquid is absorbed. SmartCat All Natural Litter works great on fecal odors as well. Your litter box will stay clean and odor free.

Key Benefits

  • With SmartCat All Natural Litter, “No smell-can’t tell” is what your home would say if it could talk! This litter is formulated and manufactured to provide excellent odor control.
  • SmartCat All Natural Litter clumps so fast and hard that odors don’t have a chance to escape. No irritating fragrances or perfumes are used.
  • Smart Cat Natural Litter absorbs and forms very hard strong clumps, making scooping and cleaning the litter box quick and easy.
  • SmartCat All Natural Litter is 99% dust free. With virtually no dust, SmartCat Natural Litter provides a healthier cleaner litter box environment for all members of the household.
  • SmartCat All Natural Litter has a creamy sand-like texture to give the product a clean and pure look that minimizes tracking. This litter is virtually dust free to minimize respiratory problems for cats and their parents.

  • My sweet Potsy loves this litter!

Mommy can't really afford it, even at Chewy's competitive pricing. But, any good fur baby parent puts their baby's(ies') best interests at heart. As a violently abused 6 month old, POTSY was afraid of "inside" for 2-1/2 months and was sleeping on the soil in an otherwise empty large winter flower POT, finally crying to come inside through my patio slider at which time she slithered inside in labor. After difficult birth involving urgent resuscitation of vital-signless momma with the third labor, she finally was revived after over 2-1/2 minutes and went on to deliver 2 more. What does this have to do with the litter, you might ask? For TWO AND A HALF DAYS, I was repeatedly running to grocery Mommy can't really afford it, even at Chewy's competitive pricing. I think they should name it after her...or at least send us a few 20-pound bags gratis!!! … more

  • Love this litter!!!

I switched from corn litter, that I had been using for many, many years, as I was concerned about potential toxins that could occur, reports of bugs, and that it was GMO corn. After reading the reviews for Smart Cat, I was a little worried about the tracking but I really wanted something better for my kitties and the few other things I tried (including walnut) were not it. I have to say, for us, this litter does not track nearly as much as the corn litter did. My cats are short-haired so they don't have a lot of hair between their toe pads to trap the litter. Sure, there is a bit of litter tracked right outside the litter boxes but it's easy to quickly sweep up. I do not have it all over my house and they don't even track it outside the laundry room or water closet where the boxes are. I am also glad that corn smell is gone. Smart Cat is really dust free whereas the corn litter was not. The kitties transitioned to Smart Cat very fast since the consistency is a lot like the corn litter. I highly recommend this litter. I wish I'd found it before now! … more

  • WOW !!! This is THE BEST EVER.

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

This is the absolute best cat litter I have ever used. It clumps every piece of waste. I was using the litter with the red bag and the green bag I was getting from Chewy. The other worked well. But it did leave small clumps of urine that your scooper wouldn't sift out. This new litter is worth every cent. You scoop the litter then the box looks like you just added all new litter. More expensive. But Stella loves the clean litter and I like how clean the box is after I clean it. I did buy the big metal scoop from Chewy also. It's far superior to my old plastic scooper.

  • Best Litter Ever!!

This is by far the best (& the most expensive) litter I have ever used. Right now I have 2 young indoor only cats. The feisty one, Violet, is digestively challenged, causing the more demure one, Ava to be less than thrilled with their accommodations sometimes. This product clumps better than clay, helps hide odors better than clay, leaves the box itself way cleaner than clay. It's ultra lightness does track like clay, but the vacuum gets drift the first time over, it doesn't get spit out as you are vacuuming. It really is amazing stuff.

  • This beats World's Best

    By on

After trying clay litters (lightweight and special attractant added) and World's Best (which for now works fine for my own 8 cats but not for my mom's 2 cats) and not being able to handle the mess I decided to give this a try for my mothers 2 cats. It clumps well and stays clumped and it has a light pleasant smell that does not end up smelling of soiled litter. It smells like grass or wheat, very natural and not an added scent. So far no problems with one of the cat's asthma (Yay!) and a much cleaner litter box.

  • solved litter box avoidance

I've been using the Blue Buffalo walnut litter for 2 years. It's basically the only littler my cats have had since I brought them home from the shelter. However, one of them abruptly stopped using the litter box a few weeks ago. She was crying and peeing outside of it on rugs or the litter mat. I took her in to be tested for a UTI - nope. Added additional litter boxes - nope. Put on anti-anxiety meds - nope. Finally tried new litter......and it worked! It's softer on the paws than the walnut, and just smells like grass. Does not appear to attract bugs. No more trackable than the walnut. Only downside is that it's not great masking the poop smell, so I sprinkle baking soda in the litter I've been using the Blue Buffalo walnut litter for 2 years. • Cat would not use; cannot recommend :(

    By on

I don't know how other cats would fare but my domestic long haired (~6 yrs) just would not go near this. The smell of the clean litter itself, unused, really is quite strong - something like corn millet - especially in a small space like a bathroom, so he might have been put off by that. No other explanation - same location, same box, just different litter type. As soon as I phased into this one, he stopped using it completely (and thankfully used a second litterbox with his old litter type).

  • Best Cat Litter .... Hand's down!

After many years of trying every biodegradable cat litter I could find, this one is it. I will search no longer. I have no idea how they make such a perfect litter out of grass but this litter is the best. Most important: NO smell. Seriously. As long as you keep the box regularly cleaned and refresh with litter as needed, it never builds up a smell (this said after one month use). It clumps hard and immediately and I think that is why the smell is kept down. Yes, it clumps hard! Barely any bits and pieces just one almost rubbery clump for every pee. It tracks but not bad, or no worse than any other litter. It is lightweight and soft on the paws. And best of all, it is not damaging to the environment After many years of trying every biodegradable cat litter I could find, this one is it. I will search no longer. • Awesome litter

    By on

This litter is awesome. My 2 cats couldn't wait to jump in the litter box. Using it for 2 weeks now and It controls odors great, smells like oatmeal in a way, very pleasant. It clumps tightly and I like that it doesnt track easily. Major plus: no unhealthy silica. I've tried many litters and am excited to keep using this product. I never write reviews so it says alot that I felt compelled to share my experience.

  • Best litter

I don't like to use clay based litter for various reasons. I had loyally used a corn based litter for years, but wasn't happy with the odor issue. Pioneer Pet SmartCat All Natural Cat Litter is fantastic! Urine clumps right away and doesn't break apart. Stool odor is extremely less than with other litter I have used. This litter does track, but sweeps up nicely and the other benefits far outweigh the tracking issue.
