Half of my cats love these, half do not. My avid hunters, and those who were saved from living rough, seem to like it. However, there are a few who apparently do not appreciate their toys talking back to them, and give this a wide berth. I must add that I ordered six of these. Five were fine; one would not turn off once the battery tab was pulled. It just kept on screaming - even after I whacked it with a hammer. I finally had to take a knife to the carcass, and surgically remove the squeaker. It was smashed flat, but that didn't stop the tiny speaker from squealing. Only after I removed the only visible screw, and the two tiny batteries tumbled out, did the racket stop. On the bright Half of my cats love these, half do not. On the bright side, I can attest to the sturdiness of construction, and to the fact that it would not be worth the work to replace those batteries - just buy a new one. … more

  • So squeakin' fun!

Our 3 y/o tabby cannot get enough of this mouse! The squeak gets her so riled up, and she just loves to toss her mouse all around the house! It's so funny to watch. Of course, her favorite time to play with this very squeaky mouse is between the hours of 2a to 4a, and her favorite place to play with her mouse is in mommy and daddy's bedroom.... But since our Marley girl loves this thing so much (it's by far her favorite toy), we just can't bring ourselves to take it away at night. :) Needless to say, we will be buying many more!

  • The girls love it!

Our two old cats went wild for this thing! Even our two dogs were intrigued. The squeaking noise isn't too annoying to humans, unless you're a light sleeper. We bought a few and we hide them throughout the house. The cats look for them at night, and when they find them, the cats yowl and the mice squeak. It's a pleasant sound to us, but light sleepers may want to put them away for night time hunters.

  • German Shepard won't let the cats play with it..

Bought this toy for my cats because the organization I foster for had them and I thought this is such a relistic and cute toy; my cats would love it! Well my German Shepard is very protective over it and takes it away from the cats. The minute she hears it 'squeal' she comes to take it away. Very funny. So fail on this being a toy for my cats Perfect for my dog though!

  • Loads of fun

Our new kitten loves this! The little squeak noise it makes is what makes this more fun than other similar things we've purchased. Highly recommend! We bought another one that is attached by a string to a handle - she loves that too!

  • So Lifelike

From the minute this mouse came out of the box, my cat has played with it non-stop. It keeps him busy when I'm not home and allows him to practice his natural hunting instincts on a daily basis. For the price, sound effects that don't require any batteries; you can't go wrong. I highly recommend it for all kittens and cats. I also plan on ordering a spare mouse just in case.

  • My Baby's favorite toy

    By on

My foster kittens just love this squeakie mouse toy. I hear them playing with them all the time. The last a long time and are inexpensive enough to send a new one home with each kitten with they find their forever homes. Even my adult cats like these toys!

  • Actually bought this for the dog...

Although this toy is not intended for dogs, our Golden Retriever who loves to carry things in his mouth is obsessed with this toy. We had an old one for the cat, and he displayed an interest, so we ordered more for him. He has not tried to chew it up. He paws at it and carries it around in his mouth and offers it to be tossed for him. We put it up where he cannot reach it when we leave the house--just in case!
