  • it squeaks

I have changed my review. The first mouse I got did not work. I wrote the manufacturer and they were kind enough to replace it. This one squeaks loud enough to get my cat's attention. She is an outdoor cat so she gets plenty of stimulation, but when I am out with her and playing the mouse becomes handy. I have tied a string to the tail of the mouse to move it and then the cat takes over.

  • Not like the OurPets play-n-squeak

    By on

I bought this as a replacement for our OurPets play n squeak MouseHunter toy. My cat loved the play n squeak, and the squeak finally played out. This toy, while it looks and sounds exactly the same to me, was not the same, according to my cat. He ignores it and still tries to play with the old mouse that won't squeak. Bottom line - great mouse toy if your cat is not attached to the OurPets version.

  • She loves this one

Our 6 month old kitty gets so much pleasure playing with this mouse and it keeps her busy for long periods of time. The toy is well built and I enjoy hearing her bat it around to make it squeak. I can't wait to see what happens when she encounters a real mouse.

Half of my cats love these, half do not. My avid hunters, and those who were saved from living rough, seem to like it. However, there are a few who apparently do not appreciate their toys talking back to them, and give this a wide berth. I must add that I ordered six of these. Five were fine; one would not turn off once the battery tab was pulled. It just kept on screaming - even after I whacked it with a hammer. I finally had to take a knife to the carcass, and surgically remove the squeaker. It was smashed flat, but that didn't stop the tiny speaker from squealing. Only after I removed the only visible screw, and the two tiny batteries tumbled out, did the racket stop. On the bright Half of my cats love these, half do not. • Cats go wild

    By on

All my kitties of different ages loved the squeaky mouse. The mouse squeaked every time they swatted it, moved it or flipped it and they went wild. I think because of the sound which is pretty realistic, it made the cats feel like it was a real mouse. That's why they loved it so much. Great toy for the kitties to have fun with.

  • Wonderful cat toy!

We bought this for our three indoor cats (all about 6 years old) and they love it! One of our males who rarely plays took to this right away. In fact he tried to carry it off before I could even remove the packaging. lol Once I removed the backing and tab to allow it to squeak, he went nuts with it. This is an awesome toy! :)

  • My cat goes crazy playing with this mouse.

    By on

I had bought one of these mice at the grocery market and my older cat loves the squeak it makes. This one from Chewy is louder and he plays with it at night also, we can hear him squeaking it in the living room. He didn't play with toys that much, but LOVES this mouse. When he gets tired from playing he put the mouse on his chest and holds it with his paws and falls asleep.

  • So squeakin' fun!

    By on

Our 3 y/o tabby cannot get enough of this mouse! The squeak gets her so riled up, and she just loves to toss her mouse all around the house! It's so funny to watch. Of course, her favorite time to play with this very squeaky mouse is between the hours of 2a to 4a, and her favorite place to play with her mouse is in mommy and daddy's bedroom.... But since our Marley girl loves this thing so much (it's by far her favorite toy), we just can't bring ourselves to take it away at night. :) Needless to say, we will be buying many more!

  • The girls love it!

Our two old cats went wild for this thing! Even our two dogs were intrigued. The squeaking noise isn't too annoying to humans, unless you're a light sleeper. We bought a few and we hide them throughout the house. The cats look for them at night, and when they find them, the cats yowl and the mice squeak. It's a pleasant sound to us, but light sleepers may want to put them away for night time hunters.

  • What a fun little trinket

My kitten was skeptical at first but after a few swats she couldn't get enough! This has quickly become her new favorite toy! The squeaking that I was worried might be annoying actually isn't that bad, but that may be biased because she looks so happy that I can't get mad at her!
