Rated 3 out of 5 by still too soon to tell My CRF cat has had diarrhea on and off for a year. We have spent a lot on vet test of all kinds and on special diets, antibiotics, pro-biotics, ultra sound, xrays... Still no positive diagnosis. His CRF numbers are not too far out of line, so no association there. Very puzzling. The only possible connection is his constant grooming and frequent hairballs. As another try, we have him on Fortiflora. After a week he seemed to improve, but then back to what has become normal. It's only been two weeks, so very premature to evaluate. All I can say at this time is that he loves the taste and that makes it easy to administer. Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll update this review. No matter what, pro-biotics and the added vitamins are something we want to continue giving him, whether or not it cures the tummy issue October 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It works! Well count me among all the many other satisfied customers who have given 5 stars. I agree to what everyone else said. I have 2 cats with IBS and the diarrhea can be quite a challenge...to say the least. I've been trying to find the best food for them, but was told about Fortifora, so I gave it a try. I definitely noticed a difference in their stools. The diarrhea has much improved. And it's so simple to use...just pour the pre-measured package into their food and stir. I even have one cat that loves the taste. He starts licking it before it's mixed in! So it must be tasty! I think it's important that cats have probiotics added into their food. It's essentially "good" bacteria that "eat" the bad bacteria, which is what gives them diarrhea. It's really a no-brainer. You can't go wrong with this and your kitty (and your nose) will thank you! Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to administer cat remedy This remedy has been recommended by my vet, and I have been using it for awhile. I had to pay a lot more for each box at my vet; it is much cheaper at Chewy.com. If your cat has any digestive issues or has to take antibiotics, this is an excellent remedy. You just sprinkle it on the food, and cats eat it. one word of caution - apparently all cats like it; so, you may end up sprinkling it on all cats food if you have a multi-cat household. Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats like it The vet recommended this but I could only get it at the vet's office (expensive) and they don't sell it at PetSmart. But Chewy has it. They have everything! It costs less and the cats love it sprinkled in their food. October 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it is supposed to do For a while the vet said the cats had food allergies, after trying limited ingredient foods and everything else, food -related the vet prescribed this...the results were fantastic. It takes a few days, and you'll need to do a full course. For the first course it is a good idea to ask the vet for the correct dose for your cat. October 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for digestive challenges We have three cats, one of which has a severe problem with diarrhea and making it to the liter box. After we started him on this, it improved tremendously -- but still not 100% gone. I just started him on probiotics, so its a wait-n-see situation (I mix it in with soft food). But for a cat that my vet said "won't survive," he's doing pretty good after Purdue University looked as his ultrasounds and said "maybe he has lymphoma" because of the horrible results of his tests. We were honestly preparing to put him to sleep, but the vet suggested we try a dietary approach before taking such a drastic step. Turns out he doesn't have lymphoma, he just has a bad digestive system. Thank you to the companies who make specialized food. And if anyone wants a cat who sometimes misses the litterbox, let me know (but we just love him so much, he's our "wrong in every way" cat). :-) August 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It really works The price is great compared to what the vet charges for 7 packets. .same as your price for 30 packets. It really helps the cats tummy problems. October 24, 2016
