My cat had bladder stones surgically removed. Vet prescribed this wet food. My cat loves it. My only wish is that I would prefer the wet food to be grain free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 3badcats FOOD. VS CAT?
My cat is on the dry version of this and loves it. My vet said during a recent appointment that I might actually add some wet food to his diet so I bought a case . (Wish individual cans were offered).
HE HATED IT! After the novelty of wet food came and went - in 5 bites - here I sit with a full case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aomr I was skeptical at first
My cat Elvis had a UTI and I thought by upping his water and feeding wet food only it would prevent a recurrence and any further issues. However he soon suffered a full blockage. After surgery, a week in the hospital, and a month of recovery at home he recovered 100%. The vet this time recommended a couple different RX foods, Purina Pro UR being the one Elvis took too best. It's been over a year on Purina UR RX and he acts like a completely different cat. Less timid, more loving, and playful. I believe it's all due to him now being regular/normal in the bladder and urinary areas thanks in a large part to this cat food. My other cat Priscilla eats it as well. The price is a little hard to swallow at first but well worth it. Other noticeable side effect/difference is way more pee in the litter box (which is a good thing!)

I can't speak to the efficacy of the product (still using it for a kitty with bladder stone), but the food seems to be tasty. Cats are not objecting to it and they are incredibly particular about their food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DCCatMom good for them, AND they love it
My male cat had some horrible urinary tract problems this spring and had to go on prescription food to keep them from recurring. I feed him this food mixed with a little bit of (non-prescription) Purina Pro Plan Focus Urinary Tract food. My female eats it, too, since there's no practical way to feed them separate meals. These two very picky eaters, who used to turn their nose up at everything after a few weeks, love this food. It's been 6 months now, and they still run for their food dish and eat every bite. All that, and no more urinary tract problems!
Also, a quick word for Chewy's staff: I needed to modify an order b/c it wasn't going to ship in time (the vet didn't respond to a verification request). Chewy's got the vet to approve AND got the shipment to me in time, after all. And they were incredibly pleasant on the phone. I'm sold!

My cat on the other hand did not like it!
She will eat just a few bites and walk away.
And will not return to eat it. Since this is a pate type
food she prefer's gravy type can food.
So I got her the Purina One can tuna and she likes
it. It is all natural and has gravy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sarah Good results and good longevity
My best buddy has needed this for about 3 years as well as the UR dry food. He gets 1/6 of a can per day (I know that sounds ridiculous, but he grew up on dry food, so this is still just a treat), and even at the end of the week he has one little paw on my leg as I mush up the refrigerated food. Not quite the happy circles that I get from him on day #1 when I pull that lid off, but after three years he still loves it! Since going on the UR food, I ran out one time and put him on Meow Mix for a week and he got the crystals almost immediately. Since resuming the UR food, he has not had any incidents. Chewy has been great; their customer service is 100%!
